Ugh, corks. One for three.

Really had to work to find a wine for tonight.

1998 Moulin Saint Georges - corked

On to 2003 Leoville Barton - horribly corked

On to 2005 Beausejour Duffau Lagarosse
Haven’t had this in probably 10 years. It’s starting to flesh out. Black cherry and ripe plums. Some black walnut and five spice. Perky acidity keeps it fresh. Quite a bit punchier than the very good 2000 I had the other night. This was a real bruiser from barrel. It has toned down a whole lot. Try another in 5 years or so. A little better than I expected.
