TN: 2018 Goodfellow Family Cellars Chardonnay Dundee Hills

Finally diving into the 4(!) cases of Goodfellow that just arrived.

  • 2018 Goodfellow Family Cellars Chardonnay Dundee Hills - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Dundee Hills (10/4/2020)
Tart green apple, ripe pineapple, candied lime, and white flowers enveloped by a hint of matchstick reduction on the nose. On the palate the fruit notes are saline-kissed, complemented with wet stone minerality, and acidity that kicks in on the midpalate and lingers on the finish. This wine is chiseled, but not unyielding; this wine derives its fruit from Durant Vineyard, and compared to the Goodfellow 2017 Durant Vineyard chardonnay I can tell there is more purity in the fruit with this vintage. Absolutely delightful OR chardonnay. (93 pts.)

Yes this is a good one. We’ve drank through 4 or 5 bottles of this already
