TN: Vignagiulia Roberts...

Trying the 2019 Dianetti Offida Pecorino, Vignagiulia as I type this. This is the kind of wine that rarely gets reported on here, maybe because it’s not expensive, doesn’t have any points, and isn’t from one of the “prestigious” areas that people seem to be interested in. But it’s the kind of wine I love seeking out, trying, and enjoying because of all of those things. A bright, greenish yellow in the glass, with an intense, crisp nose of lime, peach, flowers, mineral and light spice. Bright and tangy on the palate, with peach pit, lime, mineral, and a zesty, tangy finish. This is just delicious, textbook Pecorino, and was a fantastic match with a plate of cheeses and salamis. A wine worth seeking at and trying at $20 or less. Right now, according to CT, I have the only bottles [wow.gif]. Approx…91-92.
