Clearly not champagne and clearly spectacular. There were notes of crisp Granny Smith apples on the nose, with some savory elements, along with crisp and super precise acidity on the lifted, weightless palate, with a super long finish. Tremendous wine. So interesting how different this is compared to a BdB champagne like comtes; no lemon zest notes at all.
I have one pulled for near term consumption. Love their BdB.
