2016 Dierberg Pinot Noir Dierberg Vineyard Santa Maria Valley - USA, California, Central Coast, Santa Maria Valley (7/25/2020)
-- decanted 30 min. before initial taste --
-- tasted non-blind over a couple hours --

NOSE: very ripe red berries; not funky or earthy; ripe cherry; expressive.

BODY: garnet color of medium to medium-deep depth; clear; medium bodied.

TASTE: tight; red-fruited; medium-light oak note; 13.5% alc. not noticeable; no notable tannins; medium acidity; Drink or Hold. gut impression score: 88 - 89.
