RIP Tom Seaver

I have a 2012 but hope to purchase the upcoming allocation next January.

I bought a bunch of the Nancy’s Fancy for a friend who is a rabid Mets fan and whose wife’s name is Nancy. We will have to open one this weekend.

Went to look at their site and it is overrun.

I got to know Tom a bit. No one loved baseball more than he did. Amazing story teller. How often do you get to hear stories about Yogi Berra and the All-Star Game?

Saw this, thought Asylum fodder at first, then recalled that he did make wine. Never had it, might try it out of respect and curiosity now if its reasonably available.

Still though, RIP to a great. And from what I read, well engaged in what he was producing. Read it was a complication of a number of things, possibly including COVID. Such a shame, Tommy Terrific, great legacy.

Bonus that his certificate still works on his website. champagne.gif

Our VP of Sales was his next door neighbor in Greenwich CT when he was playing. They became good friends and our company wound up with the best season ticket boxes in all of Shea Stadium.

Tom was a class act and in his prime was pretty much untouchable. So sad to see this though it was inevitable.

Tom

My dad went to HS with Tom.
