Susan made a slow-cooked baked salmon & we had these two:
1. Sattlerhof SauvBlanc DAC: Sudsteiermark (12%; LN 02508/19; www.Sattlerhof.At; Craft+Estate/Winebow) Gamlitz 2018: Pale yellow color; strong rather herbal/SB/slight melony light earthy/chalky/stony slight mango/R-like quite pretty nose; quite tart/tangy/slight metallic light herbal/SB/bit melony/lemony slight chalky/stony flavor; very long some herbal/SB/melony/lemony light stony/chalky finish; a quite pretty/attractive if a bit mild-mannered SB. $27.00 (AV)
___________
2. Schlosskellerei Gobelsburg Cistercien Rose (12.0%; www.Schloss-Gobelsburg.At; SkurnikWines; Zweigelt/St.Laurent/PinotNoir) Gobelsburg/Austria 2019: Light strawberry/salmon color w/ lots of tiny mesmerizing bubbles; very fragrant strawberry/cranberry/watermelony light floral/rose petal quite pretty aromatic nose; quite tart/tangy bright/strawberry/cranberry/watermelon/bit spicy/cinnamon flavor; very long bright/zippy/cranberry/watermelon/strawberry some spicy totally dry finish; all you want in the way of a rose w/ lots of aromatics; well-priced at $19.00 (AV)

1. I really like the wines of Sudsteiermark, particularly the SB's. I just wish there were a wider selection of them available in the US.
