TN: 2017 G.Roumier Chambolle-Musigny

Quite a savoury nose, with plenty of earth, some meat and rose petals. There is a core of fresh cherry fruit and excellent intensity of flavour. It builds through the palate, finishing with good mineral cut and really fanning out. An outstanding Village wine.

Thanks as always for checking in on wines early.

Thanks for the nice note

had the 2009 vintage at Schwarzwaldstube this summer in Germany. It was lovely, high 80s wine, especially the complex nose was charming, but kind of short and simple in the mouth. paid around 140 euro, that I initially though was a good deal, but not really a good price vs. quality ratio.
