I see 375 bottles of the Yesterday Reserve available to me (in NY) as of 1:35 EST. I checked when this first came out and I think there were over 3,000 bottles available then. I'm not sure if that's total bottles or just bottles at the NY warehouse though.

Exactly as it says, no need to register anywhere, when your spend hits $1K, a $100 credit shows up in a couple of days. champagne.gif
Ha...Embarrassed to say I bought so much so fast I missed this....it was credited....

Do we know that availability is based on a customer’s location and not their WA buying habits?

Also, have really been enjoying the Jaboulet La Secret de Famille as an everyday wine (ordered last month).

Just add a wine to your cart and put in a very large quantity. It will tell you you’ve selected more than are available and revert to the number left in stock.

With 21% off and $30 off $120 from Amex, picked up some 2018 Domaine Weinbach Riesling Cuvee Colette and 2019 Domaine Huet Le Haut-Lieu Vouvray Sec, free shipping over $120 makes it a darn good deal.

Where is the Huet Vouvray? I haven't been able to find it on their site.

EDIT: Found it by searching google; weirdly it wouldn't show up for me when I searched from their site.

I bought a few of the Ascent at 20% discount. CT reviews solid. Sounds like a structured mountain cab in its drinking window - being a fan of Sprkng Mountain area wines I pulled the trigger. For 36/ea after discount hoping it’s a solid QPR! Cheers.

I have a more than a case of The Ringer. It's elegance and approachable. It's definitely drinkable now versus the 2018 Editorial, Radio Silence, and Yesterday Oakville. For the price plus whatever % off you could find along w/ credit card cash back, it'll be a great QPR.

My personal view on the sources for these wines:

Ringer -- Bryant Family
Commission -- Bryant Family but winemaker is Fayard (per release)
Yesterday Oakville -- Bond Matriarch
Yesterday Howell -- Dana Estates, Hershey Vineyard, VASO label but wine made by TRB
Radio Silence -- Harlan Maiden
Moundsman -- Undetermined winery but grapes are Georges III

Love how they named their random wine sets.

"Wine for Third Wheeling"
"The Anti-Break Up Box"
"Wine to Enjoy with Your Pet"

Lol. The names don't make any sense given whatever wine is included, but still, I love it. 😂

JUST pulled the trigger on The Ringer; in for 8 bottles (approx. $250) which feels like quite a deal to me given what I typically spend for 8 bottles + the high quality of the fruit (I completely agree, seems to be Bryant without a doubt).

I am definitely not the biggest fan of private label wines but of the one's I've tried - Wine Access' have been the best pours.. the most quaffable.. the one's that please the whole table etc.. In specific I really enjoyed and have hung on to a few bottles of Yesterday & Radio Silence to marinate in the cellar for the next several years, and am planning to do the same with The Ringer.

IMO $30 for a bottle that will hopefully taste like a $1000 bottle 10 years from now is totally worth the risk, and a little of bit fun along the way.

Radio Silence is solid now with a several hour decant. Not sure it will evolve into a cult wine but it should definitely improve over the next 5+ years.

Anyone else grab some bottles of the 2017 Heir Apparent? Curious to hear everyone's thoughts. I don't know anything so I just go from the enthusiasm and hyperbole in WA's descriptions. I need to not read their emails after I've had a few glasses. :)

I’ve had more hits than misses with WA this year, but tonight I have a definite miss. 2016 Canonica y Ceretto Chianti Classico could be a ringer for a very modern Napa cab. I’ve never tasted so much new French oak on a Chianti. Big, sweet vanilla oak completely obscured everything else that might be going on in this wine. Couldn’t have called this as Chianti to save my life. I’m going to revisit tomorrow but for now this is a big miss. It’s such a shame to find this in the excellent 2016 vintage.

Tell them. They’ll refund it. Only wine retailer I’m aware of that issues refunds for sound wine that you just don’t like.

Tried this and was very pleased. I agree that it's somewhere between a bigger Cali style and more refined. It's a bit hot with the 14.5% but elegant structure, some nice savory notes, good structure. Wish I hadn't downsized from 18 to 12 bottles. Going to sit on the rest of the case for a couple of years as it does seem like it has space to evolve.

I tried Moundsman and Yesterday Reserve over the weekend. The Yesterday Reserve is outstanding, and I totally agree with the scores and the reviews in CT. The Moundsman is really good too, and I will re-order more.

As discussed previously, the juice of Yesterday Oakville is probably from Bond, but can anyone guess who made the wine?

I will be trying the Yesterday Reserve in a couple weeks. Very curious any prep work you did before serving these wines? Aerate, Decant (for how long)?

What descriptors would you use for the Moundsman? It's one of the few recent releases I don't own since I could not ascertain the direct source.

Thanks in advance.

2018 Moundsman - open off the truck, decanted for 2 hrs. Fruit and tanning are well integrated, pretty juicy, a little dusty (a signature of Rutherford). Good finish. Shared it with neighbord, and they really liked it.

2018 Yesterday Reserve - open 2 days from delivery, and decanted for 5 hrs. Drank well at pnp, but it was even better at dinner time pairing with NY strip.

These two are my first experience with WA NDA wines, and I am totally impressed. I am in deep trouble.

Ordered 4 Radio Silence 2018 last night. With the $50 off $150 it came out to about $35/per delivered. Look forward to trying these.

The 2018 Radio Silence, which is still available, is another very good NDA wine. You missed out on a few, but I think the Yesterday Reserve was the best of them all.

Why couple of weeks, it's stunning right now. Unlike the original Yesterday Oakville where decant made a huge difference, this one is good to go at PnP. A slight improvement after a few hours, but not that remarkable.

Anybody else think that there'll be Yesterday Reserve Howell Mountain?

I did buy one Radio Silence and one Piece of Work, but the Ringer was not available at that time. It popped up later for a few days and disappeared again. I am glad that I have seven Yesterday Res in the cellar. [cheers.gif]. If I do not spend any money on BD12, I may reorder a couple Radio Silence.

Unfortunately the 20% off from Wellesleywinepress no longer works on Yesterday.

Wait...you were able to order some just now? Lucky you...I would add more to my order if I could.
