This is drinking great right now. More of a claret type of zin, but with plenty of zin character. Juicy blue and black fruit that fade into super powdery tannins that keep the flavors lingering a long time. Superb balance in the wine. Cheers!

I was actually pretty surprised at the note. The 2007 Tori’s was an alcoholic mess at 16.1%. Other Wilson Zins have been similarly situated.

Too bad, but everyone has different tastes. Why did you keep buying them if you didn’t care for them? The alcohol didn’t stick out on my bottle. The reserves tend to have more structure too. Cheers!
