Easy choice. Three of everything except the whites and the syrahs. That makes two cases, which is twice as much as I usually order. I am a zin guy. And this release had lots and lots of interesting wine. Not to mention the mags and the 375s, which looked tempting, but enough is enough. Gotta save some money for retirement. Or do I?

Well, to paraphrase The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, "Wine will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times of no wine."

I took one of every red I was offered (total of 10 bottles), and wish-listed two of the Compagni Portis because it sounded like a delicious field blend white. I have a funny feeling I'll do one or two more allocations and then drop the list, as I've only had a couple bottles from the case I ordered in the spring.

Full case. Went pretty hard on Zins and Syrah. And a Riesling. [cheers.gif]

I second whoever said the ABV info would be useful.

I've been buying Bedrock much faster than I've been drinking it, so I held myself to 6 Evangelho.

I was pretty much decided, even without listening to the podcasts, until I cracked my first Bien Nacido X Block (2017) last night to see if I could pass on it, or if I needed more. Great wine!! So much for my plans, I'm now questioning everything.

The sweeties that Bedrock produces are worthwhile. They're good value whites.

Gone are the days when FedEx or UPS would drop-off a ten plus case or so Bedrock delivery at My house (ok it was for my order and order for son-in-law living in Sweden). Being retired now and living in a smaller home with limited storage space my more recent orders have been kept to two cases. However, I splurged a bit with this one and ended up with a four case order. Mostly orders of two bottles of offerings and 4 Bedrock Heritage, four Evangelho, and 22 OVZ.

for some reason I was expecting this release today. very happy surprise when it came yesterday!

I just want to add that everyone talks about the vineyards of Bedrock, Morgan and Chris, etc, but Jackie is maybe the most underrated part of Bedrock. Ive exchanged quite a few emails with her and she is a gem.

Awesome and funny and so easy to work with - an amazing person, and yes, essential to Bedrock - Morgan and Chris need to sign her to a Mookie Betts level

I have ordered two cases. Of course, I have lots of allocation left. If go back in and order another case, do I incur a new shipping charge? Or do all three cases ship for the one original shipping charge?

I think if you email them directly they can add to the existing order. I did it in the fall.

+1 I always email when I end up at a weird # of bottles and want to round out a case. Usually ask to see if past vintages of a particular wine still have stock etc

In before the lock (tonight).

I just checked the new vintage purchases on Cellartracker. It's interesting to see what people have entered so far.

Interesting to see the Bedrock Heritage 375s already logged...some people those weren’t wishlist only for or friends and family?

Also not much relative love for the Noma...

Had a busy day yesterday and forgot to place my order. Thankfully my allocation was still open this morning. I did my best to keep it under 3 cases, 33 btls to be exact. I hate these guys! [worship.gif]

Just got my waiting list allocation email this morning, and for my first order I ordered 17 bottles, which is a whole lot for me. The only thing they were out of that I wanted to try was the Compagni Portis Heritage White. After reading all the raves about this winery I'm looking forward to trying these out. Opted for the in-person pickup since Sonoma is less than an hour's drive for me.

I’m new to bedrock, only to have tried the 2018 ovz. All I see on here is the love for bedrock so I figured I’d try out and sample some to see what all the hype is about. What do you all recommend in purchasing? Maybe 7-10 bottles to try out now and in the future. What’s everyone thoughts?
Thanks

The OVZ is great and drinks well young. Dolinsek and Evangelho also tend to be accessible early. Need to get the Bedrock Heritage on principle.
