Sineann GrunerVeltliner PearBlossomVnyd/ColumbiaGorge (13%; www.SineAnn.com) St.Paul/OR 2017: Med.light gold color; strong spicy/GV/white pepper quite floral/gardenias very attractive nose; fairly tart/tangy strong GV/white pepper/spicy/gardenias/floral slight chalky/mineral attractive flavor; very long fairly strong GV/white pepper/floral lightly tart finish; not a great Austrian expression of GV but quite a pleasant easy-drinking Gruner at a fair price. $22.00 (AV)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This is, of course, the wnry of PeterRosback. I generally like his wines quite a lot. This was a rather pretty/varietally-correct expression of GV but I was left wanting a bit more depth & intensity.
