Wow, this wine is in a fantastic place. Cool & rainy day on the coast so we got crazy good, grass-fed meatloaf with organic cheddar & a touch of Pt Reyes Blue mixed in. To accompany this we uncorked an epic Abe creation and it just crushed.
All overt black fruits and resolved tannins now. Drinking this blind I’d never get close to 03. Really good length thru a finish that’s never bitter or off-putting.
I think I have 1-2 more bottles. I know I have a bunch of 2005. Be cool to try this PS in 2033.
