Oregon Pinot for $15.00 Yes Sir!

I have had this four times and under Screw Cap. Paid $15.00 from WTSO and not many wines better at that price point period.

2017 Stangeland Pinot Noir Eola Hills Cuvee - USA, Oregon, Willamette Valley, Eola - Amity Hills (6/9/2020)
Day 1: Strawberry, white pepper, underbrush, violets and mushrooms. Very intense finish and nice acidity. A great wine for the money. 92 points
Day 2: No one talks about Stangeland and been enjoy them for 15 years. Amazing value for under $20.00. Tastes like it is a $50.00 plus Pinot. 92 points
Recommendation: Buy! As good as many wines twice the price. (92 points)

I fondly remember Stangeland from when I lived in Portland. Really terrific wine, I guess I never see them on the shelves in Southern California so they fell off my radar. Thanks for reminding me of them!

I was expecting the wine to be one of the new Domaine Serene releases…

At this point, I wouldn’t buy Domaine Serene at any price.

I like the Reserve but price is a bit much. You can get two Vincent or four Stangeland for the price.

Didn’t see them in the closeout bins! neener

You didn’t care for that $50k donation that Grace gave to a certain politician/entertainer? Neither did I. We did like the $6m they gave to Linfield though.

We were at Willakenzie today and suggested that they ask Jackson Family Estates donate $6.5m to Linfield and have a bigger building constructed directly in front of the Evenstad building.
