Pours a really lovely blood orange red. The nose is quite muted - a whisper of soft candied red fruit but little else. Definitely a touch of spritz left, but quickly dissipated after opening. The palate is dry, tart, and refreshing w/ ruby grapefruit but is a touch thin, especially in the midpalate, dominated by a burnt orange peel-like bitter finish. I realize this is a summer sipper type, but from PM, I can’t say I didn’t expect something a tad more interesting.
