TN: 2008 Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier Chambolle-Musigny

  • 2008 Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier Chambolle-Musigny - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Chambolle-Musigny (6/9/2020)
It’s always special to drink a fine Chambolle. This bottle epitomizes the concept. Elegant aromatics of red fruit, roses, fresh green herbs, lightly moistened earth and just the barest hint of decaying leaves, are followed up by a wonderfully lively palate presence. The fresh acidity invigorates me, and causes my mouth to water for the next sip. Suddenly half the bottle is gone, and I really don’t know where it went. Magic, evaporating Chambolle Musigny!
