1996 Dominus Estate Napanook Vineyard - USA, California, Napa Valley (6/6/2020)
PnP. Upon opening, this bottle had a wiff of VA. This blew off very quickly and revealed a beautiful wine. The color was dark red with ruby red bricking. Tannins are firm, but fully resolved. No sign of being over the hill. A pleasure to drink. Definitely reminds me more old world Bordeaux than NAPA. This vintage has many more years left, before it starts to drop off. Glad I have two more. Will revist in 3-4 years. (95 pts.)
