In late April I got the Spring release offer from Mike Schieffer & Kara Maraden from Fine Disregard and ordered a mixed case of the three wines on offer;
2018 Napa Semillon $22
2018 Sonoma Gernache $30
2018 Pato Vineyard Mataro, Contra Costa $26
I let the wine rest for a few weeks then tried a bottle of each, as I don’t have any real history with the producer or the wines (they were recommended by a friend), to decide If I should, put them in the rack for just drinking or if they are more serious wines. I was thrilled with them, especially for the price. Just wanted to see what others thought of the wines and this producer.
