Barolo is opening, are you going?

#1 Post by Tim Heaton » May 22nd, 2020, 2:24 pm

Well, not sure about (all of) Barolo/Langhe, but Fontanafredda is opening 25 May. I just got back a few weeks ago, so I'm not going to be there for their opening. In reality, while I wish I could be there (Italia) to see friends, I've no intention/need to jump on a plane(s) just now. That said, it'll be interesting to see how things progress, and obviously I wish everyone there, and here, a lovely time should you choose to go.

I'm monitoring all this closely, as we have a pre-paid cycling trip to Piedmonte during the second half of September. We have couple more weeks to cancel without loosing our entire payment.

I didn't think there were any planes leaving the country yet or other countries accepting them without the 14-day quarantine?
They do make masks with holes for straws now, so you can at least taste!
