Another wine from the old eBob Hospice Auction Group (always hated the acronym - HAG).
Still vibrant dark purple, with no sign of aging, the nose is beguiling with strawberries, red cherry, anise, and earth. Soft, refined, and elegant on the palate, with earthy notes comes on strong, subtle fruit (not in a fading way), and smooth tannins. Finishes beautifully. A really lovely wine, glad there’s more in the cellar!
