TN - Rinaldi Barbera 2017

Just cracking into a case of Italian bits and pieces I got in whilst also attempting to be disciplined about posting notes.

Giuseppe Rinaldi Barbera d’Alba 2017
Vivid purple colour. Intense aromas with notes of plums, violets, roses and the mildest hint of toast. Fresh and vivid. Extremely bright and primary. Acidity is lip-smacking but not excessively marked and tannins are supple. Texture is quite velvet. Succulent and juicy fruit on the palate, it’s beautifully proportioned and holds its 14% alcohol extremely lightly. Crisp, sweet and juicy red fruit on the finish.
91/100

Cheers,
Matthew
