Pop n’ pour in a GGG and followed over time in the glass. Bought as a backfill from K&L. You’d be hard pressed to tell me this wine is 10 years old. Lots of primary fruit notes present, including blackberry, boysenberry tea, dried/crushed blueberry, and a touch of orange peel. On the palate there is mostly black fruit with some cedar, graphite, and baking spice. Good concentration and weight on the palate, with medium acidity and dusty tannins that are well-integrated.

I think the drinking window on CT is wrong, as this has plenty of stuffing and may even get better with a little more time in the cellar. If I had more of this bottle I’d keep for another 5-7 years before opening again. (93 pts.)
