Talbott or Bernardus for offer #9?

"I tasted this little lot of Carmel Valley Pinot (Monterey County) with very few expectations...I mean, who grows Pinot in hot-ass Carmel Valley?"

"The Carmel Valley AVA is not known as a cool-climate but this immediately north-adjacent vineyard to the Carmel Valley AVA border vineyard has nothing in common with the warmer valley influence. High-elevation and windblown with an incredible diurnal swing, this uplifted seabed, shale and chalky sandstone site is more reminiscent of the extreme sites of the Sta. Rita Hills with temps that rarely rise above the 70's."

Those two came to mind, but then they are both pretty well respected for pinot noir, so the very few expectations comments makes me think someone else??

Silvestri is a possibility?

Indulge yourself and your senses with this Pinot Noir. Raspberry and cherry are layered with rose petal and allspice, while vanilla also finds it's way in in the back end. Soft and round in the mouth leading to a long smooth finish.

So still nobody has tried any of these, right?

I’m quite curious to hear once people get some of these into a glass. Interesting narrative here.

I popped one of the N.01. Once it settles down, I am going to be pretty happy I have 11 more. There is a lot to like about it. Classic cab notes. It just needs some time.

And #1 was the cheapest of the bunch and the most mass produced (he had 6666 cases!) Guessing the others will all be as good or better. Gonna wait a week or two and try #2. I have 2 cases.

I'm going to run out of storage. Email just hit...

"Good morning everyone. Just a quick note to let you know I will be pausing shipments this week. I know this might be a disappointment to those of you excited to try your first purchase. However, given the increasing temps this week around the country and the fact we had far too many overnight shipments spend 3,4, even 5 days out before finally delivering, gives me pause. Since these wines were just bottled and need to settle in anyhow, I think it makes sense to hold this week's shipments.

Instead, I will focus on getting more releases in front of you as per your numerous requests (and that is not a complaint - the enthusiasm is deeply appreciated). There are quite a few wines in the pipeline and I have to say every one of them is incredible. The late spring and early summer months typically see the higher-end players making their cuts and this year the quantity and quality is simply unprecedented. Stay tuned...tonight's release will go out around 2pm PST/5PM EST."

I guess Cima Colina. They ceased operation last December and might be unloading 2018/2019 vintage fruit.

I think he has an insane following. #1 had over 6000 cases and sold out w/in 12 or 24 hours. All the others were 400-1000 cases and all sold out within a couple hours.

Now that the wine has been tasted and people like it - 190 cases is nothing.

13 is now out.
Sourced from a single vineyard of mostly decomposed, well-drained granite from the hills back up behind Darioush winery, this Napa Valley Cabernet is concentrated and pure. Despite the relatively cool-climate, this wine is perfectly ripe and decadent with loads of boysenberry, black cherry, and cassis contrasting with the savory depths of cedar, soy, ginger spice and high-octane vanilla bean from 70% new French oak.

400 cases produced
100% Cabernet Sauvignon
70% new French oak.
14.7% Alc.
