got a case for the sister-in-law...i don't drink white

I cannot imagine there are many of you who wouldn't absolutely love this wine. A blend of parcels from two of Napa Valley's finest Sauvignon Blanc producers (albeit sourced from Sonoma's AVA's), this beautiful wine combines vibrancy and precision with ripe fruit and creaminess in a complex classic. While retailing under the producers labels for $40-$50/bottle, our synergistic blend takes it up a notch further, all for the equivalent of $9/bottle. Giddyup time!

#16

We blended two parcels together from top $40-$50 Napa Sauvignon Blanc producers (yes, Napa producers sourcing from SoCo) to create a gorgeous wine better than the sum of its parts.

One parcel is 100% barrel fermented and the other is fermented in a variety of vessels including an array of new French oak barrels, concrete eggs and stainless steel barrels for lees contact. The fruit is sourced from top vineyard sites in Sonoma Mountain, Dry Creek and Knights Valley AVA's. The result is a sumptuous yet electric experience that, for $9/bottle, will blow your mind.

Jumps out of the glass with pink grapefruit, ripe honeydew melon, white peach, lemon oil, and fresh cut lemongrass aromatics. The palate is a cool breeze in the warmth of the garden showing great balance, tension and precision. Bright guava, juicy stone fruit, and hints of pineapple pair with a grapefruit acidity that lead to a long finish and a little anaheim chile kick. Frequent lees bâtonnage for both parcels adds a kiss of creaminess and more layers of complexity. This beautiful wine will age gracefully for another 5-8+ years.

BY PURCHASING THE SUMMER HOLD OPTION YOUR WINE WILL NOT SHIP TO YOU UNTIL OCTOBER 12TH.

55% Sonoma Mountain, 37% Dry Creek, and 8% Knights Valley
13.8% Alc.

Keeping my finger on the “pass” button on this despite my wife’s previous request for more white wine to drink. October delivery seals it... waiting patiently for the Malbec coming down the pipe...

I bought the SB. $12 all in and sounds like a great summer quaffer. Offer said it wouldn't ship unless weather is ok.

The SB is the first not to sell out in a matter of hours. Symptom of either A) too much too fast by CH, B) No one drinks SB or C) Delivery in fall is outside SB drinking window for many. I personally think it's C, as if another Cab offer pops, this group will jump on it.

I was thinking the same thing this morning, but would guess it's more B with a little bit of C. A case of SB is a LOT of SB (at least at my house).

Personally we like some SB around here, probably my #1 choice for what I call “refrigerator whites,” wines you can keep in the fridge for informal serving at a moment’s notice. From Cameron‘s description, this may be a higher than average quality wine at a value price.
If nothing else, it will make an excellent base for white sangria.

Not true, the Chard is still available. Makes me believe that he has many more cases of the Whites and also they just not as popular.

You should have an email. It looks like the site isn't inherently "searchable." Each release email has a link directly to the product.

Bringing a few bottles of the #4 stagecoach merlot down to OBX this week. Surprising my parents for their 50th anniversary; they like Port, they like Sauternes, and they will drink red Bordeaux if that’s all there is, but they find it a bit “dry” and on the “sour” side. So we have several bottles of the ‘70 Taylor Fladgate that we will use to celebrate 50 years, and some of Cameron’s #4 stagecoach merlot to keep my mother out of the Bordeaux stash!

The offers keep coming, and I knew I eventually had to tie a tourniquet. Out of amusement, I just looked at my account. I forgot how many of these things I bought. No regrets, leading indicators point to good QPR. However I have to start making room. My latest oh shit moment.

I'm assuming you've determined specific details to identify deNegoce in that search form. Your link is to the blank form and just entering dates over the past couple of months and the name deNegoce doesn't result in any info. Thanks.

It’s already easy to find quality white wine at the $20 price point. Lowering the price point a few bucks is nice and all, but it’s a harder sell when you need to buy a full case of something that A) you’ve never tried and B) you don’t know what it is. There are just very, very few domestic white wines that would get people jazzed about buying on an NDA/shiner basis — you’ve got the Kistlers, Kongsgaards, etc type stuff, but there’s really not that many big brand names of 3-digit whites being made on this side of the pond. OTOH, there are hundreds of domestic reds in the 100 dollar ballpark that would be very exciting to score under 20 bucks.

Chappellet does. Shafer does under their Eighty Four wines label. Most use it for blending though.

I should clarify I am familiar with the varietal in a blend, but very rarely have tried single varietal malbec, and if I have its from Argentina. I will give some of these a try.

Opened a Stagecoach n.04 last night with prime rib for a picnic. It was an almost identical match to Anderson’s Conn Valley. The positives were there was no heat noticeable, huge black fruit, great mid palate, and a long finish. The only negative is that it’s a bit of an oak monster at this point, with vanillin overwhelming other senses. If the oak integrates a bit, everything else is in balance and this is a knockout wine.

Thank you for the note. I have #3 on order....hopefully will ship next week.

Thats th eMerlot ?

Has anyone received the Cab Franc yet?

Thanks for the note! That's my biggest concern with all of these de negoce cabs - that they're just going to be massive oak bombs. They're obviously young so hopefully it will integrate, but with any lower priced red (cabs in particular), the oak is always what gives me pause. The notes on the other wines don't seem to lead with oak though so that's promising!

This is my first buy. Wanted a Napa Cabernet/Merlot. Totally ran out of Napa Merlot last month. Use to buy Pride Mountain and Paloma. Needed more money for Pinot, so I’ve got my Merlot fix with Textbook Merlot ($20-25). Now, paying $12- rolling them dice. I’ll find out in October.
