The surprising thing to me about this wine was that it took about two hours after being decanted to really shine. When first opened it was good, but nothing special. But after enough air it blossomed, with rich strawberry and raspberry flavors intermingled with a mushroomy forest floor thing. Great depth of fruit and length. Yum.
