2017 JL Chave Thoughts?

Hi All - searched the forum to see if anyone has any initial thoughts on 2017 Chave, couldn’t find any so thought to post. From various general vintage readings, it looks like 2017 was a pretty good year in Hermitage; any additional insight or thoughts on 2017 Chave in particular? Thanks.

buy it. It’s your wedding year!

Haven’t tried it yet but while it’s likely below the quality of 2016/2015, it’s seems to be still a magnificent year (red: 96-99 parker, 97-98 suckling, 96-99 dunnuck, 96-97 galloni, 19.5 jancis; white: 98+ parker, 98+ dunnuck, 95-96 suckling, 17.5 jancis)… as the secondary market prices for the red are so much higher, I would buy anyway every year but this year for sure.

And what about St Jsephs: normal cuvee and clos Florentin?

It’s pricey $hit these days.

$300 a pop…oh boy.

Redneck in Sarasota had the 16 on sale for ~250 shipped w their recent sale; seems like a better buy than the 17.
