TN: 1967 Mario Minuto Barbaresco

Such a fine example of aged Barbaresco. The cork fell in to the bottle at the very HINT of a corkscrew - oh well. Still pretty dark at it’s core, with plenty of bricking at the edge, the wine has the classic profile I look for in these old Nebbiolos. Dusty nose of roses, violets, leather, and dry spices. On the palate a surprising elegant core of sweet fruit, with fully resolved tannins, bracing acidity, and great balance. Finishes long, with floral and muted cherry notes. Lovely wine!

Sounds great! Not a producer I am familiar with, but awesome it worked out so wonderfully for you! Love these older Nebbs and they can be relatively affordable.
