Prieuré-Roch "PURE" bottlings

Hello all!

Some of you probably know about those, a little reminder for those who don’t:
“the wine is bottled directly from barrel to bottle without oxygen contact and, hence, 100% free of sulphites”.

They seem to bottle some in an erratic way, sometimes the top parcels, sometimes the Pinoterie like it is in 2017, sometimes none at all.
Very hard to source and not many made for sure!

Have you tried any? What do you think?

These could possibly be the “ultimate” natural wines! I am lucky to have a few in the cellar

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

I have tried the 2017 Prieuré-Roch Pinoterie (and Rosé “Roses”) and was enamored with them! Delicious wines, albeit at steep prices and in the secondary market even at very steep prices…

The whites I have tasted a few as well, a bit less impressive for my taste.

Thanks for the interesting note. I realize it’s two years already, but any guess for drinking window for the Prieuré-Roch Roses ‘17 ?

Now is as good as time as any I think?
I don’t think this is meant to age really well…
