Last night was fun. Sorry for my Dr. Evil laugh, but I couldn’t hold it together when Nola was trying to get Todd’s attention and he didn’t even know she was there 😂

Sean good to meet you on video! Hopefully in the next few years I will get out to Santa Cruz Mountains and we can share a glass. Any good golf courses out in the area?

More than a few in the bay area. I don't golf anymore but plenty of Berserkers do. Pebble Beach, SpyGlass and Pacific Grove (amazing public course) are within an hour.

Man that was creepy. Wish I had done a screen capture to see just how incredibly awkward my experience was at that time!

We've got Rhone Rangers tomorrow, Mike Smith of Myriad on Friday - nothing else planned at the moment. I do have to make dinner for the family both nights, but could hook up later, though that gets things pretty late for the East Coasters! I could set it up for 6:30 ish either of those nights, IF the winemaker sessions are finished, and turn it on and go work on dinner. I'll check with Zoom and find out if I can get a 2-host plan, as they have either 1-host or 10-host or more, and the latter is $200/mo!

Fellow Wine Berserkers, I got busy this afternoon but am definitely down for Monday or Tuesday as early as 5:00 PM PST. I can host if Todd is busy. Been doing lots of tasting with wine makers but miss the chats with my fellow berserkers...

Sorry, guys, didn't see the posts yesterday. Been so busy with video sessions with winemakers that I don't even think of putting together a social one!

This week so far has only one - Mike Officer of Carlisle - and it is on Thursday. We should be able to put together something another night this week, as it's not as busy as normal. Don't get used to it, though, because Frank Murray is on fire with these and there are a bunch in the works!
Apparently I'm lazy, have a narrow agenda, and offer little in the way of content and substance (RMP) (and have a "penchant for gossip" -KBI)

Any chance we can request a Zoom with Morgan TP and Joel Peterson? Think it would be cool to have them both and Chris of course do a Zoom chat.

Yes!
I sent Morgan an email request to see if he is open to doing a virtual tasting with the board. I don't think it would hurt if a few more people also asked him if he was available.

Morgan said he's going to ask his dad to set something up. This deserves its own thread once they get some dates confirmed with Morgan, Chris and Joel. champagne.gif [cheers.gif] [wow.gif]

We are working on some things. Morgan, yes. I plan to speak with him this week.

Mike Officer/Carlisle is tomorrow.

We also just put up an event this Saturday with Dominique Moreau of Champagne Marie Courtin. That one will be a blast, as it's Champagne from the south.

And, we are working on another one via Brad, and if we can lock that one down, we will post it.

We're trying to bring these forward at a smart pace as the pond we can fish from is vast and we want to fish it smartly at a pace all of you can enjoy.
My best wines for 2020:
2014 Marie Courtin Champagne Efflorescence Extra Brut
2012 Minière F & R Champagne Influence Brut
2008 Rhys Skyline PN SCM
2015 Ulysse Collin Champagne Les Pierrières
2014 Laherte Frères Champagne BdB EB Les Grands Crayeres

Kindness matters. Dignity matters. Accountability matters. Respect matters. LEADERSHIP MATTERS!

Appreciate all the work here. All the events so far have been great.

Certainly, missing the social sessions very much. How bout Friday 6:30 PM?
