What time? I've got some wife birthday things to deal with but can set it up and check in easily!
Apparently I'm lazy, have a narrow agenda, and offer little in the way of content and substance (RMP) (and have a "penchant for gossip" -KBI)

I’d be down. Could even do it a little later than usual at 6:30 pm or 7 pm PDT if people want.

My sister got engaged yesterday, going to open some bubbles champagne.gif

I'll need it started by 6:30 pm as her friends come over for a socially-distant 'party' at 7. Any earlier, let me know?

If you want to start earlier that’s fine. I can just as easily do 5:30pm or 6:00pm your time.

i might stop by for a few depending on when we get finished with dinner.

These events are the first times I've used Zoom, but is there a way to have a permanent Zoom link to create an any-time chat room so we don't have to interrupt Todd's family events?

I believe they can be scheduled to recur regularly at a certain time.

That would be cool. Otherwise we'll have a Zoom meeting where we'll hear Todd say "Honey, I can't get romantic right now...I need to Zoom with the winos."

They can be recurring, but the host still has to start the meeting each time - it doesn't self-start. Not sure there is a program like that, actually, but I'd like to see it.

I'll set it for 6pm tonight!

Looks like there is a “Join Before Host” feature when setting up a meeting such that guests can join the meeting before the host arrives or if the host can’t attend.

Shameless plug for my friends who announced and released Babble Labs AI voice enhancer and noise reduction software. Pretty cool stuff.... Windows beta is free for 3 months, Mac client should be released soon. If you do a lot of conference calls this might be something that interests you. The enhancement results are quite impressive...

I know there is a lot of WB zoom stuff going on this weekend, between Champagne and Flannery, but I'd be interested in a general WB hangout tomorrow and could set up a Zoom if enough interest is there. Gonna need it after this week on service :P

Would probably aim for 6pm PDT.

Just going to confirm that I'm free tonight. If so I can create a Zoom link. 6pm PDT work again?

Edit: I'm good to go tonight! Here's the link https://wustl-hipaa.zoom.us/j/929600661 ... ZLa2Zldz09. I also posted a separate thread in Wine Talk.

And I'm proud to be a Berserker but not enough to join the Crü
And I won’t forget the Chardonnay that they poured down the loo
And my bottles stand up! the night before, to keep sediment away
Cause there ain’t no doubt, I'm on this board for Wine Berserker Day

Anyone around Friday, July 3rd for a pre-4th of July WB chat? I could set something up around 6pm Pacific/9pm Eastern if people are interested.

Do you mean a post-July 1 chat?

If so, I'm in.

Technically July 3rd is post-July 1.

I’ll create a zoom link later and post it.

Now that the 4th weekend is behind us, anyone up for a video get together this upcoming weekend, fri or sat? If not then, any other night in the week? Would be nice to shake off the beer and burgers I had over the weekend with some good juice. Enjoyed it thoroughly the last time I joined the zoom here.

I'm in for this weekend. New to the meet ups but would love to participate. Friday would be best for me. Currently holding a ton of riesling (Wei Ku, Prum, Stein, Boundary Breaks) and a broad swath of southern italian reds.
Eye-opening producers: Au Bon Climat / Peter Lauer / Envinate / Clemens Busch / Lopez de Heredia / Pax / Bernard Baudry / Mother Rock / Maitre de Chai / Tissot / Channing Daughters / Vitor Claro / Raul Perez / Eric Texier / Bordelet (not wine, but incredible cider).

Enjoyed last night thoroughly. Any interest in more of the same on 7/18 or (if not 7/18) 7/17?

Looking forward to the next one 😁

Would a different night this week be better? Could do Friday as usual or earlier in the week instead.
