• 2017 Domaine Fourrier Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Combes aux Moines Vieille Vigne - France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru (3/2/2020)
  A beautiful nose of purple fruits, violets and black earth. The palate is so fine, perfumed and silky. It is an elegant wine, yet voluminous and possessing real presence. Flavours build and fan out on the long finish. Balance is exemplary.

Sounds splendid. Unfortunately haven’t bought Fourrier since 2002 vintage, although a couple of 01s were a bit weird. When they were on though they were so pretty and perfumed.
