What is the opinion of the Board regarding the value of your wine collection for insurance purposes? Do you generally use the CT community values? Is it better to use replacement value, i.e. Wine Searcher? Or just what you paid for it? My current provider requires a separate rider for wine & the cost is getting crazy.
For the total coverage amount I pick the total CT estimated value. If I have a claim to file I use the WS value as I’m insured for the total replacement value.
