TN: 2014 Bernard Moreau Chassagne-Montrachet La Maltroie

Finally got around to to opening this up. Unsurprisingly, it was great. An absolutely electric wine. At first it was a ball of racy acidity, super linear, but over an hour and a half it unfurled a bit. There's a richness and depth to the wine, but everything is kept in line by a mineral backbone. Absolutely a producer whose wines I will be seeking out going forward.

Moreau’s 2014s are outstanding.
