1967 Poderi Aldo Conterno Barolo Monforte e Perno - Italy, Piedmont, Langhe, Barolo (2/16/2020)
Smells of truffle, teak, cardamom, leather and dark chocolate. The palate has a sweet, vinous quality and so much earthy/ savoury nuance. It gains weight with air and shows more subtle florals. It is a beautiful Barolo of good build and proportion. Length is superb.
