TN: 2016 Méo-Camuzet Hautes-Côtes de Nuits Clos Saint-Philibert Blanc

Great wine for the price. A bit fatter, as many of the CdN whites are, but flinty, fresh, and mineral as well. Palate full of lemon curd and spice. Expertly balanced, and a very complete wine. Drinking quite well.

Just saw this on the shelf here locally and was curious. I’m not too familiar with Meo’s whites. Sounds like a winner. Thanks for the note!

This was my first white from them, and I’m impressed. I got this bottle for $40, if I find more at that price I’m definitely a buyer.

I used to sell this wine and always thought it was one of the better Meo values. Kermit’s info says 100% Chardonnay, but some other sources say there’s up to 10% Pinot Blanc in the vineyard, and it always tasted like there was some of the PB nutty richness in it to me.

I had and really enjoyed multiple bottles of the '13.
