A masterpiece

OMG……what a perfume! This wine is a magic and textbook Riesling with its fruit-acidity play, minerality, lightness, elegance “Feinheit&Finesse”, purity, agebility and drinking pleasure. We were all blown away at the table.

Kudos to Claus Jeppesen. [worship.gif]

P.S. don´t tell me ever again that only sweet Riesling can age

Did he make the wine?!

No, he was our host on Friday in Copenhagen.

Dr. Ferdinand Carl von Schubert was responsible for this Riesling.

Sure, just joking

There’s nothing like old Grünhaus wines, especially from Abtsberg. You’ll notice that the label has only 11 percent alcohol. Most dry Kabinetts, much less GGs, have higher alcohol levels.

The longtime cellarmaster was Alfons Heinrich.
