2005 Laurent - Clos La Roche - deep purple with slight orange on the rim. Intoxicating nose of dark cherries and licorice.

On the palate abundant dark cherry and blueberry flavors. Still lightly tannic, but with ample concentration.
This could turn out to be a beautiful drink with another 3-5 years in the cellar.

Does anyone know if there is a separate VV bottling of this wine ?

It’s actually called “grand Cuvée vieille vignes Intra-Muros”

I actually the (other) Josh is right, at least according to CT. In '05 Laurent offered 3 different CDLR, a Tradition, a VV, and a VV Intramuros; think the OP probably popped the first, which looks like a regular bottling.
