TN: 2018 Kelley Fox Mirabai PN

TN: 2018 Kelley Fox Mirabai PN: Lightness in its step, almost a spritz, effervescent start to it, tons of fruit, great tannins, perfect finish. Hint of white pepper. Very Pinot in its taste (and I don’t normally pick up on that very well, but here it was clear as day). What’s there to say? It’s goddamn great, that’s what. And this is their lower end wine price-wise, which gives me a lot of confidence the fancier ones are going to be really exceptional. 94-95pts.

Get some! [cheers.gif]

I this from Carneros. Didn’t think they grew PN near Calistoga.

Kelley Fox is an Oregon winemaker, all day and every day. The 2018 Mirabai is a Dundee Hills bottling comprised of Maresh and Weber Vineyards.

Great note, absolutely planning to “get some” berserker day!

Great note. Many thanks. I have some Maresh along with her last Maresh Red Barn Block bottling. Looking forward to them. She is a great winemaker

One of my favorite pinot producers. The Ahurani is also an incredible value.
