Oh boy, big development! It looks like Referral codes are treated like coupons, once used you can’t use again.... But you can use a different referral code for another order. You are not limited to one referral per account. [worship.gif]

I just placed separate orders with two different referral codes from this thread and it went through just fine. Sound like this may be a way to essentially generate endless $25 off coupons.

Here is mine

It stopped working for me after order #4 but it looks like if you use a referral link in chrome incognito mode it generates a unique code

They have now corrected their pricing. I grabbed 4. Thought for sure on delivery they would be 350ml... they were full sized champagne.gif

Not to be a downer here Because I love coupons, but don’t we have threads on buying Mis-marked wine? Or is wine.com ok because they are the Amazon of wine?

I am in FL and just placed an order today. Set delivery date for November though. Way too hot to ship ground now IMO.

Wine Access has 2016 Forman Napa cabs for 110/bottle. Reasonable at the starting price, but if you buy 2 bottles with referral bonus and amex 50 off 150, it's 60/bottle + tax with free ship. Killer price for top vintage Napa stalwart. I think WineAccess

Referral link for the 3 people left on this thread who haven't used it. http://share.wineaccess.com/v/daniel_46

Add on 1.5% cashback with Rakuten as an added bonus.

You get MR points from Rakuten which I prefer over super slow cash back redemption from RMN and I use for long haul premium class redemption and get more than 2 cpp.

Wine.com (CA) has 2017 Hubert Lignier MSD VV Premier cru for $239.99
With the coupon and 20% retailmenot cash back could be very attractive pricing.

It's hard for me, at this point, to factor either of these in. I just assume I'm paying the website price and hope that the cash back comes through. More experience will help. My thoughts and experiences -

Rakuten - I have had Rakuten credit me for wine.com purchases without me having to use the "missing cash back" feature exactly zero times. I have only made a couple of Rakuten purchases at other sites, and those were credited without an issue. When I have reported the missing cash back, they have credited it most of the time, but not every time. Somewhere in their T&C, it apparently says that you "may" not get cash back if you use a coupon code other than the coupon codes available from Rakuten, and all of the 50/150 and 100/300 coupons fall into that category. They also say that the clock for credit starts when the wine ships, so for my recent orders, where I'm delaying shipping to October, or for futures orders, who knows? Some seem to have gotten credit for those, others not. I have one futures order and I have not been able to get credit posted so far.

RMN - I have made a few through them but none more than 45 days ago, so we'll see if the credit actually posts. I still show zero credit and even zero pending, which doesn't give me a warm fuzzy. But the main thing here is the limit of 7 (I think it is - it's posted above) transactions per calendar month and the $50 credit limit (per order/per month/ever? Still unknown). I placed several small futures orders as the '19s came on, so I have more than 7 transactions in June, so the 20% they are showing now is useless to me, which is a major bummer.

Wow, that Krug rose deal is a heater. I just picked up a few using $100 off and the RMN 20%.

Slightly off topic, does anyone know if there’s a difference with the bottling/blend of the 375? I’ve noticed they don’t print the edition on the GC 375 label like they do the 750, but I’m not sure if that’s the same for the rose which I’ve never encountered.

Rakuten always gives you the points, just may take a little while, but they’ve always come through. The MR points is a game changer imo.

Confirmed with retailmenot that it is max of $50 per purchase. I will go with cashback instead of MR points. Award charts are always degraded over time and partnerships could always be removed.

Confirmed with retailmenot that it is max of $50 per purchase. I will go with cashback instead of MR points. Award charts are always degraded over time and partnerships could always be removed.
That’s up to you, but I’d always rather have MR/UR points at anything above a ratio of 0.5:1 with cash back and it’s more like 0.6-0.7:1 with this deal, never mind the hassle factor.

I need new coupon codes! With the free shipping and the 20% from RetailMeNot, what a great time to buy. Anyone have any codes that aren't listed here (I've used all of these...)
Going to state the obvious. Get another account and you'll have all those again. RMN will give you 30% back on StewardShip, so it'll only cost you $35 to not have stress over promo codes.

I have been a good boy, but I gave in just a little today. . .
I thought I had two bottles of Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé in my cellar, but discovered that I only had one. I HAD to get at least one bottle to replace the missing one, right? And if I increased that to two bottles I could get such a great deal with 50 off 150 plus the 20% from RMN. Final net of less than $45 each. I will soon have three bottles of Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé in my cellar!

Do you have to wait before making another order the same day for the 10% off and coupon. I noticed once before when I ordered twice I didn’t get the 10% on the second order from wine.com but they applied the coupon.

Rakuten observation. I almost always my desktop or laptop and browser, but since today's 10% offer was only for purchases via the app, I used the app. Maybe that was the difference, or maybe they've updated their software, but this time both of today's purchases are already showing with "cash back" checked and with a purchase amount as "pending." This is new for me on Rakuten, at least with wine.com. As I said above, I've always had to report these as "missing cash back" to get anything.

So that's good.

Here's the weird part. The "pending" purchases show the purchase amount. I made one 2019 Bdx futures purchase (so no coupons) and one purchase of in-stock wines with the most recent 100/300 coupon. I am already a "stewardship" member so after they add shipping, they subtract it back out. On both orders, they did not include the shipping amount in my purchase amount (which makes sense) but they did deduct my "stewardship discount," which does not. OTOH, on the one where I used the coupon, they did not deduct the coupon amount. We'll see if any of this gets adjusted as these move from "pending" to actual, but I thought I'd point this little oddity out to the group.

The last purchase I used Rakuten on prior to this (at least the last one that actually got credited) used the subtotal to calculate the cash back - so they did not add the shipping, but neither did they subtract the "stewardship discount," and they did not subtract the amount of the promo code coupon. As I said upthread, I'm viewing all my Rakuten and RMN cash back as found money and not actually factoring it into the buying decision because I haven't come to view it as dependable, either that I'll get it or how it will be calculated. But I'll certainly take what I can get, happily!
