Got a targeted 100/300 individual code in the mail for wine.com this morning. Great timing as I also received a $200 gift card as a gift this week. Any recommendation on a single bottle of red burgundy (PA shipping) in the $500ish range available on the website?
Can you share the code?
My understanding from the mailer is it’s single use only. Will share after I use in case that is incorrect.

I've never seen any codes that were only for use by a single person but you're definitely right not to put it out here until you've used it!

I doubt it’s single use but I would consider getting either 2015 or 2016 Drouhin Laroze Beze

Yeah it’s a pretty good deal with the coupon and free shipping.

on the wine access amex offer (spend $150 and get a $50 statement credit, up to three times) has anyone successfully gotten more than credits on a bigger purchase? For example has anyone tried to spend $450 and gotten the full $150 back? or does it absolutely have to be three separate $150 charges and get $50 back each time? thanks

Not sure about that, but my Amex offer is spend 250 and get 100 back (3 times). Pretty good deal.. I do think they all have to be separate purchases though.

I am wondering about wine.com's storage, and also about shipping. Last week, they shipped me two bottles of Domaine Serene's NV rose from Sacramento, and it was a high of 95F that day. So if I order something more pricey/age-worthy now, they have to hold the wine until November or December.

You can specify a ship date. I did this multiple times last winter, and they held my orders for 1.5 months. If I were to order now, they'd be holding it for 5+ months which gives me some concern, exacerbated by the fact that they just shipped me wine when it was 95F at the shipping location.

I received on my Amex $45 off $145 at BV Cellars and $90 off $300 at B Cellars.

Haven't ever tried either wine. Anyone get a member discount with these places?

just make sure those portals aren't set up to overcharge amex customers. sometimes they offer a discount on a site that is not for the general public, because those sites have market up prices. inexplicable to me, but amex allows those into their amex offers program. bigger problem for hotels, but i remember looking at those bv ones and thinking the prices seemed nuts. you ought to be able to get better prices from Treasuries friends & family sale, Costco, or even supermarket blowouts since BV is ultimately pumped through those pipes in size. (I like BV and that's not a pejorative)

Luckily, it's not a portal, but an automatic statement credit. Sometimes the deals line up with sales on the sites, but not right now.

Willing to share that code yet? [thankyou.gif] champagne.gif
It’s good until June 30, planning to use it in 2 weeks or so. Will post right after that!
The codes are all just one use "per account", as far as I've ever seen. So share away if you've got 'em. Saw a new one yesterday: $100 off $300 4MAAFTC champagne.gif
awesome thanks! went for a 2010 Unico, pretty decent price after coupon!

Not sure about that, but my Amex offer is spend 250 and get 100 back (3 times). Pretty good deal.. I do think they all have to be separate purchases though.

on the wine access amex offer (spend $150 and get a $50 statement credit, up to three times) has anyone successfully gotten more than credits on a bigger purchase? For example has anyone tried to spend $450 and gotten the full $150 back? or does it absolutely have to be three separate $150 charges and get $50 back each time? thanks
Yoni, wow, how great to see you back. I just happened to click in the thread on a whim and saw your post. How are things? It's been a long time but great to see you posting. Take care. [cheers.gif]
Frank! Good to hear from you. Yeah, it’s been a while. Going to start posting more. Hope you’ve been well.

Just got a wine access $100 off 250 delivered to my inbox. Plus I have the amex 50 off of 150.

However the site is hard to navigate.

Any Napa cab or sparkling suggestions?

The Pine Ridge in the pre arrival section is what got my friend to try WA.

I haven't bought from Wine Access before but had a look. Interesting site - highly curated selection, or strangely limited choices? Depends on your point of view. I didn't see much here that got me excited, but 5 bottles of the Laherte Frere BdB NV for $150 (after the two discounts) is interesting. I doubt you could find a better champagne for $30 a bottle!

It was selling in costco for 99 a few months ago months-long. Everytime I was there, I saw it. Was waiting for it to hit clearance, but then one day it was gone.

With the $50 off $150 referral credit + my $50 off of $150 from Amex, I got Grane Anne for $65 (and Pierre Moncuit for $25). I was extremely happy with this deal.

Also, I've received two orders from them so far and their service and packaging is top notch. Even more impressive, my friend's shipped was delayed by 2 days (not due to weather) and they contacted her to let her know and gave her a $50 credit without her even saying anything. Everything considered, I think they tremendously value their customers and have service to show it.

Not concerned that they quote the drinking window being Now - 2020 ?

Always wondered how concrete those dates are.

Tawse is a good deal. There is also 2008 Cristal in a gift box with two glasses that comes down to $216 with the raise.com coupons. 2016 Produttori is a great deal as a filler, as is 2017 Chave Offerus. They also have Delord 25y Armagnac.

But a lot of it depends on where you are, no Krug Grand Cuvee halves ending in .99 in California...
