Some great deals, thanks for posting. Are you sure there's no out of state sales tax? I've never ordered from them before and when I called, they said they charge NY sales tax to all orders.Andrew M wrote: ↑February 3rd, 2021, 6:50 am 20% off all still wines at Astor. Thanks for the tip, I missed out on both Barolo's above because of the site being crazy laggy. But I got one of the Lignier CDR. Great deal on that. Good price with the discount. I was tempted but this wine needs 20+ years until it enters it's drinking window.Mich@el Ch@ng wrote: ↑February 3rd, 2021, 3:17 pm Ended up adding one bottle of the 15 Lignier cdlr after the website started working again.
One good thing about getting older, no need to chase current vintage red burgs.

Used wine.com 50/150s and 10% off to pick up '15 Brancaia Ilatraia @ $36, '18 Janasse VV @ $63, '16 Château Haut-Brisson @ $18, Laurent-Perrier #24 @ $100.
Pretty excited, especially about the L-P. Have a 20/50 to use might go back for more Ilatraia or maybe a Brunello...

There are some decent deals to be had on Rioja too, if you're looking for something to spend that 20/50 on. Just used a 20/50 to get a CVNE Vina Real Gran Reserva 2012 @ $36.29 (tax included), and you can get LdH Vina Tondonia for the same.Philip G wrote: ↑February 4th, 2021, 6:12 am Used wine.com 50/150s and 10% off to pick up '15 Brancaia Ilatraia @ $36, '18 Janasse VV @ $63, '16 Château Haut-Brisson @ $18, Laurent-Perrier #24 @ $100.

Re: Best deal/coupon for on-line wine shopping.
Asked wine.com when/if they might switch some states (like NH) back to the NY warehouse, and they said they can't answer that. It's frustrating because they have some bottles I want to purchase (with coupons) in NY and I can't order them. Oh well.

I used to. But now sometimes I don't even try to for the best bargain. I usually end up looking at the final price vs. wine-searcher price. Sometimes there are sometimes better deals to be had when you go above the coupon amount, depending on wine.com's relative markup.JBrochu wrote: ↑February 4th, 2021, 3:11 pmI used to. Re: Best deal/coupon for on-line wine shopping.
Same here--if you are below CT community average, you are usually doing much better than W-S. I have too much wine to want to buy a bunch of bottles just to get the best deal. Would rather get a hard-to-find bottle at a below-retail price. For example, 2014 Clos Ste Hune at $189+tax with a $50 off $150 is pretty good: https://www.wine.com/product/trimbach-c ... 014/622856JBrochu wrote: ↑February 4th, 2021, 3:11 pmI used to. wine.com inventory is dependent on which warehouse it ships out of, which is based on the state it ships to. If you tell us the state you are shipping to, people can suggest good QPR wines based on that.HoosJustinG wrote: ↑February 4th, 2021, 8:02 pm I just got a $100 off $300 in the mail from wine.com which is a new one for me. I'm in the same boat as you Justin. I'm in VA and use Domaine DC. But I have shipped to the Napa warehouse for a few special items. Sadly, VA, DC, FL are all the same warehouse. Then theres NJ which seems to ship pretty much just to NJ (sadly domaine NY is actually in NJ). NY ships most of the Northeast from PA up through Mass I believe. CA ships a ton of places but I am pretty sure they cover the other 3 domaine locations.HoosJustinG wrote: ↑February 4th, 2021, 8:56 pmCan ship to VA, FL or anywhere there’s a Domaine Storage, theoretically.K N Haque wrote: ↑February 4th, 2021, 8:15 pmwine.com inventory is dependent on which warehouse it ships out of, which is based on the state it ships to. For VA, the Laurent Perrier Grand Siecle 24 is good at 150 before coupons. You could buy two of them+some $7 bottle of white wine to get over the 300.
Also the Billecart Salmon brut rose at 80 before coupons. I did an order of 2 of those, and stacked the amex 30 off 100 offer.

Re: Best deal/coupon for on-line wine shopping.
New Hampshire has been served by the Florida warehouse for many months now, I guess due to the NY issues. I suspect some other NE states might be in the same boat at the moment. It sucks because it narrows the shipping window when compared to NY, plus the Florida warehouse is poorly stocked.JoelD wrote: ↑February 5th, 2021, 3:56 amI'm in the same boat as you Justin. Re: Best deal/coupon for on-line wine shopping.
1 x LPGC and 2x Billecart Rose's seems like a winner
W-S lows are $135 and $65 respectively, so that's $265 at best ... will be $209 after $100 off coupon. I always like buying sparklers when I'm just buying wine to take advantage of a coupon. I know I'll drink them not just eventually, but probably pretty soon.

Good choices! Love B-S rose! [Edited to remove suggestion of Krug, since it ends in .97 and is therefore ineligible for coupons]HoosJustinG wrote: ↑February 5th, 2021, 5:59 am 1 x LPGC and 2x Billecart Rose's seems like a winner

Re: Best deal/coupon for on-line wine shopping.
With these get over the hump purchases I try to pick something up in the ~$20 range on sale that I'd actually drink rather than throw away the $7. I added a Haut-Brisson at $28 (WS low $26) to the LPGC24 with the 50/150 coupon.JoelD wrote: ↑February 5th, 2021, 3:56 amI'm in the same boat as you Justin. CA ships a ton of places but I am pretty sure they cover the other 3 domaine locations.HoosJustinG wrote: ↑February 4th, 2021, 8:56 pmCan ship to VA, FL or anywhere there’s a Domaine Storage, theoretically.
All I've got left are 50/200s which can actually get a decent deal with the RMN 10% if I can find wines at good prices to begin with (like that LPGC24). Might pull the trigger on another.

Re: Best deal/coupon for on-line wine shopping.
They have Bedrock Bedrock Vineyard and Evangelho right now for shipping to Virginia. With a nice coupon could be compelling.HoosJustinG wrote: ↑February 4th, 2021, 8:02 pm I just got a $100 off $300 in the mail from wine.com which is a new one for me. Unfortunately still seems like their inventory is crazy low. Any QPR winners others have discovered there?

Thats a fair point, if you can find one that has a good price on its own like Haut Brisson. However from another side, you're paying basically full price on that one. Whereas you could order 2x haut Brisson on a 20off50 instead.Philip G wrote: ↑February 5th, 2021, 6:36 amWith these get over the hump purchases I try to pick something up in the ~$20 range on sale that I'd actually drink rather than throw away the $7. For me though, I keep cheaper whites around for friends and family and holidays. There are some surprisingly almost drinkable ones for 7-8 bucks there.

Re: Best deal/coupon for on-line wine shopping.
Vivino just posted a winery library release of 2006 Musar Rouge for $49.99 with free shipping on 4 or more. I want to buy 2 cases, but alas, I am behaving.

Re: Best deal/coupon for on-line wine shopping.
Since the TX warehouse has tumbleweeds rolling through it, my strategy lately has been staples at a better price. Roederer for $49 and Bollinger for $59 are already significantly better than local sellers ($80 for Bollinger???
) and they go together 2:1 for $159. Even when I can’t price it to perfection, this is worth it combined with $50 off $150.

Does this link work?
https://www.vivino.com/musar-rouge-gast ... &year=2006
If not, just search for "musar rouge" and it should pop up.

There is a $30 off if you spend $100+ at Zachys using the coupon code ZWINTER30. Additionally, there is an Amex offer for $30 back if you spend $150+ at Zachys.

Are Zachy's and Zachy'sDC different entities? I activated the $30 amex offer, but didn't get it for my purchase at Zach'sDCMariano Chiaramonte wrote: ↑February 5th, 2021, 2:26 pm There is a $30 off if you spend $100+ at Zachys using the coupon code ZWINTER30. Mh... maybe the deal isn't available in my region (CA). The 2006 is listed at $69.99.K N Haque wrote: ↑February 5th, 2021, 2:17 pm Does this link work?

Amex offer for zachys wont work for dc. There is a separate Zachys DC amex offer for some accounts.John McDermott wrote: ↑February 5th, 2021, 3:37 pmAre Zachy's and Zachy'sDC different entities? Almost pulled the trigger on two mags from zachys, until the $50 for ground shipping...is that reasonable or excessive?
