I'd rather add something in that I might actually be interested in drinking even if it's $15-$20. LBV Port or Roderer Brut 375 are around $15 and can be opened for non oenophiles.mmarcellus wrote: ↑December 31st, 2020, 1:24 pmIn NY I would go for the $6.99 Corkscrew.
Or just click on "Discover" at the top of the page, sort by low price to high, then pick the first thing that strikes your fancy

Starting now until June 30, 2021, AMEX Platinum Cards (US Basic/Consumer Only) have a $30 statement credit per month for any Paypal Checkout merchant. Full FAQ here: https://www.americanexpress.com/en-us/c ... ypal-faqs/
Right now, I'm only aware of Envoyer being a merchant with Paypal Checkout as a payment method. Anyone know of any other Wine Retails who have Paypal as an option for checkout?

I only see 1,554 total items on wine.com right now, which is significantly less than earlier this year. Anyone know what is going on or which warehouse I am zoned to (Texas)?

I just picked up a mixed half case of Chardonnay (CA and Burg) from Beaune Imports.
https://beauneimports.securecheckout.co ... OX008.html
Seems like a pretty good deal to get my hands on some solid offerings at a decent price with the 15% discount.
Especially excited about the 2017 Cameron Clos Electrique.

Looks like WineAccess has PayPal as well (they have the logo, but I didn’t actually sign up yet).
With a 20% off coupon that could essentially equate to $150 of wine for $90 shipped (right now, 4x ‘18 Geyserville would be $98 with a 20%)
Will check it next time I order

Another data point for the AMEX offer...
I just paid for a subscription to Brad's Champagne Warrior on Jan 1st, which is technically a direct Paypal Merchant (not checkout) payment. I'm showing the Paypal $30 credit from AMEX being applied to that for month of January.

Re: Best deal/coupon for on-line wine shopping.
On my Amex Platinum, I got $30 off $30 for Wine Insiders. They have a $50 discount of $100 as a referral offer (PM me with your email address if you would like a referral). They should stack (haven't tried it yet), giving you $80 off $100, and if it's over $120, free shipping.
This is only on Amex Platinum consumer cards (including Schwab Amex Platinum) as far as I know.
I have no idea if they have anything good, mostly inexpensive bottles that I never heard of. let me know if you find Old World stuff of interest!

Re: Best deal/coupon for on-line wine shopping.
I've never dealt with WineInsiders but in addition to all the above they have a reputation of NOT honoring back end types of coupons / promotions, claiming that the purchaser didn't follow all T&C. Keep that in mind if one thinks they are getting 'free' swill from them. One has to prowl various boards and dig into the comments but it seems to be recurring theme with them.David_K wrote: ↑January 4th, 2021, 11:04 amI would pay money to not drink the wines from Wine Insiders. Re: Best deal/coupon for on-line wine shopping.
News of possible interest to wine.com shoppers/coupon-hunters:
For those of you in states (e.g., Maryland) to which wine.com has been (temporarily, one hopes) shipping wine from its Florida warehouse, where the selection is quite meager compared to the New York warehouse--
I've been running a little test each day, searching for in-stock wines under $70 but rated 95 or higher. For states served by the New York warehouse, 168 such wines are available; for those served by the Florida warehouse, the number has been around 25-28 for the past few weeks. But in the last few days it has been steadily rising, reaching 39 as of this moment.
Not sure whether this trend will continue, but there's always hope!

The bare minimum you could do is try to add value to this thread instead of making such low-effort posts.
Also, it's cute that you quoted my post but edited your referral link back in so you effectively bumped Tyler's link. Note how Tyler is adding value to this thread by doing actual work? Maybe that should be something you should try to emulate?

But it's a great deal with referral bonus for the wines that are sold at market price - 2018 Ridge Geyserville and Bevan Ontogeny, for instance.
Also, they have amazing CS and ship times/packaging, so all else being equal, it's a good place to shop.

Re: Best deal/coupon for on-line wine shopping.
wine.com, vivino.com, vinfolio.com is easier to find your wine. It's good to get wine from wineaccess when amex offering $50/$150

Oh thats nice, not in Colorado I'm afraid. Wine.com generally has prices on par with a boutique wine shop or worse in my region. The coupons would help and thus I'm considering them when my WineLibrary subscription is up

The selection varies a little depending on shipping state. Bevan Ont and Geyserville are still available in MD. WA was offering Geyserville for $36 if you buy 6+, take 20% off that and free shipping and it's a good price.

$40 in NY and still available. No multi-buy discount. FWIW I compare prices to major retail outlets within area such as Astor and Warehouse. These days if it can be delivered for comparable price that is a win for someone without a car.Kurt_L wrote: ↑January 5th, 2021, 5:16 pmThe selection varies a little depending on shipping state. If you like high end Chianti Classico, 2016 Castello di Bossi Gran Selezione for $35/bottle isn't bad. With Tyler Rico's 21% off coupon, you can get it for <$30/bottle (tax included and shipped free if you buy 4 or more bottles)--I doubt you can find it anywhere for less.
