Does the 100/300 deal only work in some areas at specific times? I used it once a couple weeks back, and tried to use CRUSHED (without logging in) and got a not valid kickback message.
All worked for me in CA. can you clarify some more of what happened?
Nothing too out of the ordinary. Put $315 worth of wine in the cart, tired the CRUSHED code and got denied. I forget the exact language, but it didn't work.

Maybe you had some .97 items in there before so the total non-97 items was less than $300.

Hi Folks, when you have multiple orders from wine.com, do they ship them together or according to each individual order?

Individually.
1) they pack in cardboard which is recyclable
2) I have been flattening the boxes and stacking the inserts and then posting for free on Craigslist once I have accumulated a bunch. I have managed to give nearly all of the boxes thus far a second home/use.

Given that the referrals will always be there, I suggest you to wait and use those when Amex has offers and also when WineAccess has the 15% discount.

Cool. So the referral bonus doesn’t expire? Wineaccess occasionally runs 15% off site wide?

Rakuten 5% back on wine.com
How does Rakuten work? I have an account, but never used. How would I get my 5% back?

Once a quarter they send you your accumulated cash back - can receive as a check, via paypal or in Amex points.

Rakuten (equivalent of eBay overseas) bought eBate recently. They have been very reliable in sending me the checks from my past purchases for the past 2-3 years. Before they send the checks, they also offer you the option to have it in form of gift cards to certain stores and get a ~10% bump.

Yes. That is correct. It would just stay on your account, i think. Also i suggest that you send the referral or send the referral when they have a sale. Last year i think it was twice that they ran the 15% discount site wide. I was able to stack the the 15% off, referral credit, and the amex discount. Also, don't forget to use the cashback sites for additional cash back! cheers! :-)

Hi, I am working on a side project for a wine shopping assistant that essentially cherry-picks inventory from K&L, wine.com, etc. I just added promo support to it and am now heading down the deal rabbit hole with what I think are crazy values. Would love thoughts on how to improve this. Here's what I have so far:

Starts off by maximizing qpr for the wine styles I like (automatically creates a bundle of wines).
Free shipping (well, $49/year)
$100 off $300 of wine
10% back on wikibuy
5% back on rakuten (I think this is additive to wikibuy)
2% back on credit card

So $300 in (qpr maximized) wine ends up costing $166 (before tax).

e.g., I just ran a request for 24 bottles and it comes back with solid everyday drinkers (V/WA/WS 90-92 pts) for a net of $7/bottle using the above math. But now I'm a crazy wild-eyed coupon lady trying to get it even lower. :-)

BTW, if anyone wants to bang away at it (it's a Chrome extension), DM me. It's still quite raw and really only works well for the west coast now because wine.com doesn't ship all wines everywhere (also works on klwines.com).

I know everyone’s CCs have taken a beating with these wine.com deals so am hesitant to even bring this up but with the coupons potentially expired at the end of the month...

I have 2 wine.com accounts and in the past have used them on the same coupon. I’ve used different CCs and shipping addresses but same billing address and name. I believe they only do the check per account. So for another $50 for the stewardship on a second account you should be able to repeat the madness.

Ready, go!

It might be a florida thing, many wines people have mentioned are not available and the prices on the wines I am looking at - even when sorting by "savings" - are still much higher than wine-searcher. I have been looking primarily for Italian wines - have yet to find anything worth paying the shipping even after the coupons and cash back.

Only ~ half of wine.com's inventory ships to FL. It looks like the left 1/3 of the country plus IL get the full 16K sku inventory. FL is like 8K. MA is 4K. NY is 14K.

I thought about that but not sure I want to spend another 3k there, which would certainly happen. I’m pretty much done stockpiling 168s except mags now, up to like 4 cases.

Click on Texas and be prepared to be disappointed. Also, I’ve always been told it’s ‘illegal’ to offer coupons for alcohol in Texas (NO total wine coupons here) and it looks like none for wine.com either.

TX here. I get TW mailers every week with coupons. Wine.com 100/300 work all the same, and they stuff the box with more coupons when they ship.

15% off leap year sale on Wine Access today. Stacking with the referral link.
Is there a code?
There was an email they sent which you needed to click through to get the 15% discount. Check your spam if you didn’t receive their email today.

Speaking of referral credits, I was able to get a 2016 SQN Dirt Vernacular with credits yesterday at FirstBottle Wines. Prrrrretty happy about that deal.

No, not in my experience-- tried with a couple of the 100/300 codes, but didn't get the cashback.

But if it works on the .97 that the 100/300 doesn’t it could be worthwhile, right?

Might pick up a couple ‘17 Beau since they wouldn’t let me use the coupons on them, plus a couple other smaller pickups like that vin santo someone mentioned.
