Here's an Amex one I just found that's a bit different: Spend $10 or more using your enrolled Card directly at an eligible small business and get a $5 statement credit; can use up to 10 times. Several great wine shops be me (that also have online stores) are eligible. I'm going to buy 10 bottles of Kabinett, one bottle at a time.
Ive been doing that since amex started small business promo few years back. Even envoyerwines qualify.

Oh no, now I feel silly I didn't notice it earlier. The Wine House, Lincoln Fine Wines, and Woodland Hills Wine Co. are all on it.

Do you know if it's only $5 per transaction, and not $5 off every $10 in a single transaction?

It's $5 per transaction if the total amount is over $10.

Someone up thread mentioned they purchased 10x $10 gift cards. 1 per transaction.

Personally I've been using the $5 "Credit" and tipping that to my food take out places that I frequent. I obviously would've eaten there anyways, so if Amex is giving me $5 for a $10 burrito. Here's $5 tip & hopefully you stay open after this whole COVID situation.

So for each transactions you make of $10 or more you get $5 statement credit back.

So I would place 1 order of riesling to get $5 back then place a second order of the same wine for another $5 off. Make sure each is $10 or more.

WineAccess restock alert!

2018 Ridge Geyserville and Lytton Springs are both back in-stock at $40/btl. Use the referral sign up bonus paired with the AmEx promo and get 5 bottles for ~$110 depending on tax (~$22 per). If are only getting the $30 referral discount (as they've appeared to change it) it'll run you ~$26/btl which I still think can't be beat anywhere.

Interesting, I don't see any Ridge wines here in MA. Not sure if that's a west coast offering only. But total steal if you can get it. That 2018 Geezer is my favorite young one of the past 5 vintages.

Saw 2015 Seghesio OV Zin is $29, always a good standby that you can get ridiculously cheap with stacking. Also don't miss Pierre Moncuit Delos Grand Cru Brut for $25 each if you buy 4 @ $50 and use the AMEX offer with a $50 referral or credit. champagne.gif

PSA for wine.com west coast customers - I've heard from a couple CSRs there that there has been some issues at the Berkeley warehouse there and stuff is not getting out on time at the moment. That is more likely to be a FedEx issue than a seller glitch. It's going to be 102-108F in the next week out here so people may want to hold off on orders/shipments etc.

Stinks they don't ship in styro and/or use the WineAccess ice pack. Not that you'd want to ship in 100 with those measures, but just saying generally.

Anyone try the 2016 Concept Album Cab from WineAccess, or any of the Immortal Estate cabs which this is a shiner from?

$35 pre stack, it's from the former Hidden Ridge vineyards in the Mayacamas mtns. Debating trying one but $35 for shiner juice has me on the fence.

As someone who has very little experience with wine, I had the Slope and it blew me away. Keep in mind this is coming from someone who has tasted 10-20 wines in the $100+ range in his life, and that would be the only Napa Cab at that price point.

2015 VCC -379. Could be of interest with referral/amex bonus bringing a bottle down to 229+tax. Though to be fair, that just gets you to EP pricing

Kind of ironic for you to have a problem with my post when you’ve posted your referral link in this thread at least twice with no value add. Guessing folks will appreciate Geyserville for $22.

I realized a while ago (when someone else pointed it out) that it was not the ethical thing to do. Everyone, by this time knows about Wine Access. So yes I was self promoting and I apologize for it. When I want to see if there are new deals/coupons it gets tiring seeing posts where one individual will benefit.
You can call it what you want but self promotion is what you are doing. Sorry if I offended you but it is what it is.

I agree with you that it is (self promo), but it is also necessary to use a referral link to get the deal I shared.

People are free to click the links they choose, and I know I clicked a forum member’s who had posted an interesting deal when I made my first purchase.

I have no problem with others sharing their links when sharing strategic ways to use them as it is, at the end of the day, beneficial to the community IMHO. Agree that people shouldn’t just be blasting their links with no context, but also think that others will understand the difference between contributions and ultimately click the link from a value-additive post.

@ RyanA, I find it helpful and perfectly ethical. I did not know much about Wine Access nor what deals people are finding. It's of mutual benefit to you and the reader. Very common to do this in other forums such as those that frequent flyer junkies hang out in.

If it clogged up the thread, or repeatedly had nothing other than "here's my link", I might consider that poor form, but I found the one you recently posted helpful.

And if anyone lists great Burgundy deals would earn my praise even if they clogged up the thread with them !

I had stopped posting my referral link so it didn't give an improper appearance. I wouldn't post it every time I post in this thread but I would definitely point it out when using the referral and an AMEX offer code to get lower priced wine.

Interesting responses. As Jeff just said that he stopped posting his referral link to avoid an improper appearance that is exactly what I think. Maybe someone should start a discussion where everyone can post their referral links?

Placed an order of Geyserville at 12:15pm PST yesterday. Based in CA, so maybe it is regional.

Looks like there are 3 bottles left available right now.

I checked about an hour after Ryan's post yesterday and didn't see any available, I'm Chicago based so I have to believe it is a regional issue.

So going through a Chicago VPN it doesn't show up when you search.

When you click on the direct link below it allows me to add up to 3 to my cart. This is off a "private" browser so not logged in and no cookies.

I placed my first order at Wine Access today so one of those unethical people who posted their link that Wine Access is dying for us to share just got $50. Enjoy!

Or put it in your signature. People can use it if they want to.

I agree we don't really want this thread to be just people posting their links but I don't see it as unethical adding it to a relevant post.

Retailer: Wine Access

I got a post card in the mail today for $50 off $200 for an existing account when shopping through:
http://wineaccess.com/newsite

It seems targeted so I think the most utility would be in using it in conjunction with referral credits.
Otherwise it would be better to shop through a shopping portal and a referral link.

Thanks this seems to work for my account. Add the $50 from Amex that's effectively $100 off $200 since $50 off $200 would put you in threshold for the additional $50 Amex Offer Credit.

When using Incognito mode, I could get 3 bottles of the Geyserville to my cart, but upon checking, it errors out. I'll keep trying!

As a datapoint, I am in the Midwest.

to ship 6 bottles via ground to the midwest is $48. add tax and there is really not much savings...it's a shame because morrell used to have stellar sales and offer free shipping to boot

Was there an expiration date on the promotion? It looks like it may work for most folks with an existing account, but I haven't received anything in the mail that would indicate when the promotion expires. Thanks for sharing!

I don't think it is unethical to post your link as I have done so several times myself, I just don't think its a good look to post it every time I post in this thread.

So we can get back on topic instead of people stupidly fighting about referral bonuses:

I had picked one up from Flatiron a few months ago so passed on that, but still kicking myself for skimming too quickly and missing the '14 Hudelot Noellat at the top of the reds...

If I was still going to NYC once a year (hope to resume next year), I'd bite on the Morrell, but $38 shipping for 3 375s takes the savings out of it for what I wanted.

I ordered from Morrell. The 2014 and 2015 Ramonet red Boudriotte are apparently actually Clos de la Boudriotte.

Yes, for Ramonet, the red is Clos de la Boudriotte and the white is La Boudriotte.

There are two different red bottlings from Boudriotte, from different plots, as I myself found out just a couple months ago on a different thread. Which is why I reached out to Morrell to ask.
