Sherry Lehmann is selling Paul bara Brut 2007 for $40. No shipping for orders $100+. Didn’t charge me sales tax either. Deal!

https://www.sherry-lehmann.com/paul-bar ... -2007.html
did they honor your order? seems like this was mispriced as now the regular nv is on sale for the same price instead of the 07.
Honored mine.

Got what appears to be a wine.com coupon that is not in this thread yet:

PW50FB - 50 off 150
thanks. Just used it.
Thanks that worked for me along with 2.5% cash from Rakuten, 6% on gift card from Raise. Nice score on some Comtes Lafon.

Anyone else have any $50/$150 or $100/$300 coupons not already mentioned? It's the weekend, time to buy more wine!
Here'e one: LI50 - $50 on $150

Here is what I currently have. Am I missing something?
LI50, CIQ50, CN50, PW50FB, FBR50, FBSPIR50, FBPRO50 - $50 on $150
JB20, PS20 - $20 on $50
7KBMAFR, 3KBMAFC, 2MKBMRT, 4MAAFTC - $100 on $300
Just tried these. None of the $100 off codes worked. LI50 did work.

Waiting for retailmenot to have a link to wine.come for cashback. That seemed to end in June. Maybe comes back later this month...

I went looking for more 2009 Cristal. I found a pre-arrival on Vinfolio for 4 bottles, $205@ (plus tariffs if in place when shipped). I don't think I've ever ordered from them before. There's a 10% off option for both of us if someone uses my referral link: https://www.talkable.com/x/XpS7kV.

Cheers,

WineAccess has 2016 VHR for $220, which I think is already WS low.. With referral and Amex offers, 2 bottles comes out to <$150 a bottle, cold pack shipping included. You can also stack Rakuten 1.5% cashback as well. I think that's probably the best deal from WineAccess thus far.

Astor has 15% off burgundy and Beaujolais. Decent deals on things ranging from drc to daily drinkers. 09 and 15 rsv decent deals as well as rc if you’re into that.
Even better prices today with the 20% off French wine sale. '17 Barthod Cras is at 30% off to $140, '17 Roulot Clos des Bouchères at $360, '15 Vogue Musigny at $600

Astor, as mentioned above.

It’s 20% off of all still French wine.

I think the 10 richebourg at 2550 and 09 rsv are the best deals on drc; I reluctantly passed, though.

WineAccess has Ridge Lytton Springs for $40.

5 bottles with the referral discount and AMEX promo would get you to ~$21-22/bottle dependent on state which seems pretty good.

My link if you would like to use :)

I just hit day 46 since my first wine.com purchase using RMN, and - shockingly - no cash back. I have reported it to them and we'll see.

On Rakuten, I'm often getting an indication that I won't get credit until 7 days after my order has shipped. My June orders were all for Fall delivery due to not wanting to ship in the heat, or for Fall 2022 delivery because they were 2019 Bdx futures. When I point this out, I've gotten credit for some.

I am still 0-fer on just getting my credit to post within the time frame specified, without having to report it as missing, on either Rakuten or (now) Retail Me Not.

I also opened a case with them today for this same thing. Did this last week for a prior order and was paid by the end of the day. Interestingly, none of my "larger" purchases have shown as pending, but the very small ones, i.e. for a $50 order, do.

I should also mention again that it appears that Rakuten has changed their methodology. Previously, I would get (after reporting it missing) the appropriate percentage of the "subtotal." Now I am getting (after reporting it missing) the appropriate percentage of the subtotal, reduced by the amount of my StewardShip shipping discount (but without the shipping charge being added in). So on a $100 order to which a $20 shipping charge would normally apply, but which is free because of StewardShip, I am getting a percentage of $80 as my cash back. Before these last few, I was getting a percentage of the $100.

Wonder if Rakuten will honor the credit with futures, which ship in late 22.

I have one Rakuten futures order on which I'm still going back and forth with "support" by e-mail. I just got the standard "7 days after it ships" e-mail and responded with an explanation of how wine futures work.

I had I think two other futures orders on which I used Rakuten. I have received credit for both of them now, but only after having to report them missing and going through the dance.

Most of my futures orders I placed via RMN, and only the oldest of those is yet more than 45 days old. I didn't get credit, reported it today, and I am waiting to hear back.

Not wine.com but overstock.com, RMN did automatically credit me $22 from my purchase last weekend. So far so good. will try and take advantage of the 10% of wine.com on my next order. my Lafon and PYCM showed up last Friday.

To add on to Sean's point, I have received Rakuten cash back for purchases from other websites (far fewer, but a handful of times) and I received my cash back every time, without having to report it to Rakuten. So there seems to be something funky about the way these sites are interacting with wine.com.

Picked up 1 btl (max purchase allowed) '14 H. Lignier Clos de la Roche @ Astor Wines during the 20% off still France sale, along with some others including:

'15 Marc Colin St. Aubin Blanc 1er Cru (Les Charmois)
'15 Prudhon St. Aubin Rouge 1er Cru V.V. (Sur le Sentier du Clos)
'14 Prudhon St. Aubin Rouge 1er Cru (Cuvée les Rouges Gorges)
'18 H. Lignier Bourgogne Passetoutgrain - have heard about it before but never tried, and the price was right - too bad only 1 btl max purchase. [scratch.gif]

Really, the only reason I still order from Astor Wines on occasion is because I used to live nearby and frequented the store, and the selection is really superb, often bottles I would have no hope of finding in my area or even most places in Chicago/Chicagoland. 20% off is a pretty substantial discount for them, but prices at Astor tend to skew higher than average.

Usually just file a missing cash back claim and they will correct it.

I too have had issues with Wine.com not reporting to Rakuten or taking an exceedingly long time to do so (on the order of 3-6 weeks), so I have been simply reporting my purchases using the "Where's my Cash Back" form by default. Recently, however (as in the last week or so), they have reported my most recent purchases from the past week and added my Cash Back automatically as they promise to do, so maybe the kinks are being worked out?

I have noticed that often when it does take a long time, its purchases using promo codes from here or other places that weren't directly sent to me, especially the 100/300 codes.

Thanks for the feedback. I will keep going back to them to try and get the credits.

I went back and looked and found a couple of more orders. So I think my scorecard on futures orders looks like this -

2 orders not credited, I reported, and after a few e-mails received the credit.
1 order not credited, I reported, several e-mails, still telling me I have to wait until it ships, awaiting their response to my latest
2 orders not credited and I just reported so the e-mail process is just starting.

I've had good luck with rmn credits lately. I'm surprised.

I haven't looked into it, but one thing to consider is that if you have another extension like Rakuten or have clicked links on non-rmn sites, they may overwrite the rmn affiliate cookie. I think there is only one at a time and it's the last one in. So make sure you go from rmn cashback button directly to wine.com and don't click on other sites' links to wine.com. I wouldn't *think* that an extension would overwrite the affiliate code, but they could and you would never know.

I think that is my problem, that I tend to do other things before returning to buy. They paid me yesterday for the case opened yesterday, so they're making good whenever necessary. It's just a hassle to have to track them and make sure they're paid, so I'll try to buy right away after activating from now on.

Just curious. How much time are you spending for every $10 you're getting back?

WineAccess has Ridge Lytton Springs for $40.

5 bottles with the referral discount and AMEX promo would get you to ~$21-22/bottle dependent on state which seems pretty good.

My link if you would like to use :)

Thanks, Ryan. Question- the Amex offers we receive never include wineaccess or wine.com. where are you finding them?

Exactly, I gave up.

I posted up thread where Rakuten told me the rebates didn’t really apply with the coupons. They made an exception and credited me, but I’m not going to keep bugging them for exceptions for a few bucks on an already good coupon deal.

It's certainly not the most financially rewarding use of time. As I posted up-thread, I too have given up factoring in the rebates to my price calculation, especially with the big coupons. I will cut and paste some emails, though, and I am still putting some effort into my initial RMN purchases as those were made on 20% day.

It seems that, at least for Rakuten, they have the same approach. On the ones not worth my time for an extended effort (like the standard 2.5% days), it's often just taken one report. On the 10% days, when it's more worth my time, they've dragged it out a bit more. But I have pretty much composed every e-mail I'm going to send at this point, so I can just copy the last one and paste.

No more than a few minutes to submit the form and copy and paste my purchase data in there. I had forgot to go back and request the credits after they initially denied them.

Unfortunately, Wine Access has to “pick you”. My guess is if you make wine purchases using the American Express card you will be targeted.

Cash back update -

RMN just got back to me on the first of my RMN-wine.com purchases to reach the 45 days (which was not automatically credited). They have now issued the credit (this was not a futures purchase). Two interesting things: 1) As with my more recent Rakuten credits (but see below), they deducted the amount of my StewardShip shipping "discount" from the amount of the purchase, but they didn't deduct my other discount coupon, nor did they add the shipping cost. 2) The customer service agent told me - and this is the first I've heard this anywhere - that I should be sure to start with an empty shopping cart for the credit to register properly. I almost never start wine.com trips with an empty cart - I typically stash stuff in my cart there and "save for later" so I won't forget a wine when I come across one of the rare ones on their site that is worth buying at their price.

Rakuten just sent me, for the first time the e-mail someone else referenced above about "we don't issue cash back on purchases were you use a non-Rakuten discount code, but we'll do it this once." I still have some futures purchases outstanding with them but I will no longer use Rakuten on purchases where I'm using one of the discount codes we find here. This was a good one to go out on, though, as it was a 10% Rakuten day and a 100/300 coupon, so $30 was a nice cash rebate to get on top of that. Interestingly, on this one, despite what they've otherwise been doing recently, they gave me the 10% on the full subtotal, without any deduction for the $100 coupon or for the StewardShip "discount." Go figure.

And so it goes...

For what it's worth, I had never purchased wine online or at a wine shop with my AmEx and have received offers for WineAccess, Wine.com, Stags Leap, and a handful of other wineries / wine clubs. We'll see if I continue to receive offers now that I've used the Wine.com and WineAccess offers. For WineAccess, would recommend just signing up now and not purchasing anything and you will likely be targeted for a $100 off $250 promo a week or two after signing up, which pairs even better with the AmEx offer.

What is the best no annual fee Amex card people are recommending for these wine offers? I don't currently have an Amex and was told by my mortgage broker not to apply for any new cards until my refi closes (hopefully next week), but after that I think I need to look into the Amex angle.

Thanks! [cheers.gif]
