Even better using one of the 20% off coupons, $28.80 and $57.60 are silly prices.

Showing for me in CA

If by chance there is a single soul on this board who need a referral, $50 off your first order of $150 or more

I haven't poked around on WB in a while, but decided to tonight - used your code! Cheers!

Landed Shafer OPF '18 and Ct. Pavie Macquin '15 for $204.98 before discount.
Thanks, went with 3x 2016 lisini brunello and an il poggioni rosato to put me just over $200! Can’t beat that with the cash back.
2x 2019 Le Vieux Donjon and 2x 2017 Felsina Rancia for $170ish pre tax after coupon, then 10% cashback, then $30 for Rakuten sign up. Wild.

Wine.com is all over the place with their mark-up, some wines are still higher than W-S average after 20-30% off. Some are already market rate, and using the coupon must put it at wholesale or less.
I did the 19 donjon last month on a coupon. Nice price for what should be good juice!

Another value I saw today are magnums of 2013 clos apalta for $179. They still had some last time I looked…

YMMV but Total Wine in my area had the 2015 Bodegas Lan Lan Reserva Rioja at $32. With the buy six discount it was $29ish. Next lowest price on WS was $52 and WDC is $70. Reviews are very good on that particular vintage.

I assume this is the 2015 Bodegas LAN Rioja Reserva Culmen? I don't see it available online from Total Wine.

I saw that empty bin in store last week, and did a quick search: all the Culmen's at every store near me had pretty much sold out quickly. I think it was actually a mistake price as LAN has a lot of bottlings, and someone could have coded it up wrong upon intake.

I had bought some previously (at much higher prices) and its the craziest sized bottle I can think of.

I just bought the Gianni Brunelli for $67 from TW. A quick online search shows it available at a similar price at WineDeals.com and WineTransit.com. The closest I can get it for is $100 in my area on W-S.

The bottle is massive. Not that cool when my storage is all eurocave. That said, great deal so I’m not complaining!

Yes, the reserva culmen. They only had it in one local store, other two were sold out.

Some of these are available locally to me at the $32 price...and I have some coupons for TW that will drop it even further. First I've heard of this producer... is this a larger scaled wine with some crossover appeal to traditional palates? Or is this purely a modern-esque wine...?

Most of the reviews have suggested it is a midpoint between a traditional and modern style. It does have the trifecta of good scores/comments from wine pros, CT and Vivino. Wine.com customer ratings were 4.9 of 5. It figured at $28 it was worth a flyer. Bottle is perhaps too substantial but definitely exudes quality. I may pop one this w/e and will report back if so.

The last time I tried to use both of these it told me I didn't have enough in my cart. Even tried putting $500 in to see what would happen and no luck 🤔

EDIT: Mix 6 has become mix 12. WDC must be struggling...

I'm seeing Ridge Lytton Springs 2019 for $37.99 on wine.com. My orders typically ship from New York. That gets them to me for under $30 with discounts and tax.

I also found a 6% merchant offer for wine.com with my Citi credit card. I used it once and it showed up again.

My experience with LAN is that they are about as modern as Rioja comes. I have had this wine in an earlier vintage and thought the same. Their website says 25 months in new French oak. I'd expect this will be a large-scaled, modern, internationally styled wine for sure. Might be good in that mode, but I wouldn't expect middle-of-the road styling or anything resembling traditional Rioja. Look at Otto's (Forceberry on CT) note on the '04 and I think it will tell you a lot about what to expect: big, ripe, international, but well made.

Check if your items are ending in .97, those don’t count (hence the ‘only shipping discounts apply to this item’)

By reputation, its a big, big wine. I'd guess it to be like a Torre Muga. Most TW coupons won't work on this since its not a DI; some people might find an Amex Offer that could work.

As another poster noted, the bottle size is vexing, and it may occupy a magnum spot.

Same here on the Citi Merchant Offer. It takes about a week to credit to the card, and comes through back dated. For anyone who might consider WDC for futures, those can be stacked with portals. I've used them twice, no email notifications or anything like that (unlike Amex) and the chatter is - if there is a problem - no one at Citi will have any clue on how to help you. It's something run in the background by the Mastercard network.

I agree with your assessment. The first Citi merchant offer I tried was for $50, and I got worried when it didn't show up for several days. When I contacted customer service, they had no clue whatsoever, saying "that's a merchant offer, talk to the merchant." Luckily, all 3 I've tried have gone through, but I suspect you're SOL if it doesn't.

I got the warning from Rakuten that by using one of the 50 off 200 coupons, my 10% cashback offer wasn't technically valid. They gave it to me this time but just a heads up for everyone.

Even better using one of the 20% off coupons, $28.80 and $57.60 are silly prices.

Showing for me in CA

If by chance there is a single soul on this board who need a referral, $50 off your first order of $150 or more

How long did you wait before emailing them?

I think I e-mailed the day I made the purchase since I didn't receive the usual confirmation e-mail about an offer being activated. My order shipped the next day and that's when the money was posted.

At long last RMN has returned!! 12% cash back at WDC

There's also an old WDC promo code that has been reactivated: FBPR50 is $50 off $150. This code was active a few months ago and then expired. If you already used it previously it will not work a second time.

Thank you, I never used it but it still doesn't work for me. If I don't login it works ... where do we find these codes from, FB page for WDC?

The code is active for me, but doesn’t work because I used it previously. People saying it doesn’t work: are you getting the “according to our records…” error? Or the “do not recognize” error?

I've closed the page now, but I'm pretty sure it was the "do not recognize" error. I'll try it again...

You're right, that's weird. Yesterday it was active ("according to our records") this morning it was inactive "do not recognize" and now it's back to active.

I’m showing as not eligible - but I don’t recall using this particular coupon

It was a glitch on the backend and they were able to apply it for me on chat.

When RMN didn't do a Columbus day 20% (as they did last year), I went ahead and used the 50/200 October coupons like OCTSTWD, but held out on the 50/250s. Unfortunately, they all seem to have expired other than chardfall50, so I'll use that. But even the 30/200 coupons like spookywine get you down to 39% off with the 20% RMN if you do the full dance with Raise cards (using Rakuten and a 2% card to buy them), so still some good savings to be had there especially when the WDC top line price is reasonably competitive.

Does RMN still pay out when I choose a shipping date in the future and per WDC: "Your card will be charged when your order ships."?

Or do I have to change the shipping date to now/Monday?

TIA!
