Check your Amex cards for new offer from Parcelle Wine. (Mine is $20 off $75) Their "Today's deal" can be good, but only changes every 2-3 days.

If you are a new customer, here is a $10 off link:

Getting into the weeds here, but I think RMN gave me credit for full purchase at wine.com despite my using a discounted Raise gift card. For example, I used a $50 raise card, and paid a $21 balance on credit card, but RMN shows a $71 purchase. I think the prevailing wisdom was that this is not the case. Just fyi

The way everyone is explaining it up thread, that's how I thought it worked. Hopefully it does. I have 3 pending cash backs for 20% of what I paid with gift cards. Guess if it doesn't ultimately go through I'll know!

It's always been this way.
Only thing RMN or Rakuten doesn't consider in to the cashback/points back is promo codes.

What's the best AMEX card to get for the wine offers? I just got an offer for Platinum.

I think it's really hard to say. I have the standard Amex-branded Platinum and while most say that is the best for these offers, I have received few of the good offers. I had one WDC for $10 off, and one WA, for IIRC $20 x 3.

I have the platinum and I get a lot of the "good" wine offers on that card - I've gotten two wdc offers in the last six months (one big one small), First Bottle offer, Last Bottle offer, several Wineaccess offers, more winery specific offers than I can keep track of (wineries I don't buy from like Beringer, Stags' Leap, etc.), and various other shops that I don't use. For comparison, I also have the Bonvoy (or whatever it's called now...the old Starwood card) card and the Delta gold card. By far, the Platinum has been the best for wine offers. That being said, YMMV.

Absolutely not true as far as I’m concerned. I have a old blue card (no fee) and a Platinum card. I get far more wine offers with the blue card than the Platinum. Probably because I make far more wine purchases with that card.

I have many amex cards and it seems to me some offers are cycled through different cards. Sometimes I get great offers on cards that I iterally use once every few years.

Agreed which is why I highlighted it here. And the plus free. shipping makes it a great deal. But I understand not needing more of a wine. I am on a self-imposed one month buying moratorium myself, but this one is tough to pass up.

I got and took advantage of the parcelle wine offer along with the $10 coupon on some Rousseau ruchottes.

I get most of the wine offers; I have Amex centurion, gold, plat, and bonvoy brilliant.

$10 off on Rousseau? That’s big of them. Lower the price from $1150 to $1140 per bottle?

I'm going to step in and thank Michael here since it was my referral code he used, which I posted once I saw there was a new Parcelle offer on my Ames. Yes, $30 (referral plus $20 Amex) off of $1150 isn't much, but his use of the referral got me $25. Concretely, that meant I bought an extra bottle of a Peter Lauer GG. At $60/btl. this is a pretty big purchase for me, so I appreciate it if someone used the referral if I made him aware of the AMEX offer, even if the amount that person spent on wine made the $10 referral look miniscule.

Wineaccess has the 2018 Bevan Ontogeny again for $95. $70 for 2 bottles using new account referral link below

They also have 2018 Mongeard Mugneret bourgogne rouge for $29. You can get that down to about $20

The 2017 Henri Gouges 1er Perrot is back as well. Get it down to $64 for 2

2017 Anne et Herve Sigaut les charrieres 1er. Get it down to $60 for 2 bottles. I really like this producer.

    Get 1x 2014 Calon-Segur and 1x 2018 Mongeard Mugneret bourgogne rouge for $114.

Ontogeny says it’s not Eligible for discounts or promotions.

Interesting. I guess they changed it. I was able to do it before.

Wine Access has done this before with some producers. I remember that when they had Dagueneau's Pur Sang up it was also explicitly excluded from promotions. I don't understand the reasoning, since there are more expensive bottles on the site which are eligible for discounts.

If you are a new customer, here is a $10 off link:

I added this Amex offer and clicked your link, found something I wanted to order, but when I went to check out, they were going to charge me $20 to ship 2 bottles. Negated most of the savings so I passed.

Yes, Parcelle charges flat rate $20 to ship up to twelve bottles, so I understand how that negates most of a $30 off. It is $12 to ship one bottle, so perhaps the deal is a bit better with one bottle. Also, there is free shipping in NYC over $150, and of course enough Berserkers here in or near the city who might pick up the order and save on shipping (I believe Parcelle also holds orders for 90 days at no charge, but check first). Sorry this offer didn't work out for you, Sherri.

Does Amex do Vivino offers as well? (I've only seen Wine Access/Wine.com)

I've never seen Vivino on Amex. Right now, or recently in the past, I have had FirstBottle, Vinfolio, Parcelle, and Morrell. I now other people have gotten LastBottle, but I never have.

If anyone needs a FirstBottle referral as a new customer, here's $10 off: https://www.firstbottlewines.com/invite ... 4941c.html (and FirstBottle has free shipping on any 6 bottles)

So as a follow up to my Raise saga, after numerous attempts to reach them via email and chat, with no response, they finally refunded my two invalid cards with a short generic "we're sorry your card didn't work" message. Still, that's what I wanted, even if not the best CS, so all seemed to be well. Then several days after the refund they again charged my CC for the amount refunded on one of the cards. So again I sent messages to Raise to ask why this had happened, and again received no response. This time I simply disputed with AMEX.

Overall I found their CS to be terrible. I'll probably continue to use them for the cashback cards, which have never had any problems. I definitely will not purchase discounted cards going forward.

Question for the Retail Me Not Wine.com cash back promo. Its says it is 12% right now, but it also says maximum reward of $50. Is that per transaction or the total you can get for the duration of the promo? Can you keep buying from Wine.com using separate purchases and re-using the cashback mechanic over and over as long as the cashback reward for each particular transaction does not exceed $50?

My understanding is per transaction, up to 7 transactions per month.

Correct. You can only use each coupon code once, but you can use RMN on multiple transactions, including same day, up to seven times per calendar month. RMN's $50 limit is per transaction.
