TN: Kracher BA Cuvee '15...(short/boring)

Had this w/ a Loisen Crema Panettone this weekend:

Weinlaubenhof Kracher Beerenauslese Cuvee Burgenland (11.0%; TerlatoWines; 60% Welschriesling/40% Chardonnay; www.kracher.at/en) Illmitz 2015: Med.dark gold color; intense botrytis/apricotty/peachy/canned peaches some creme brulee light earthy bit complex nose; bit soft quite sweet very rich/lush intense botrytis/apricotty/peachy/creme brulee bit earthy flavor; very long/lingering very intense botrytis/peachy/apricotty very sweet bit soft finish; loads of intense botrytis but not much else; will go out another 10-15 yrs; great dessert wine at a very good price. $28.00/hlf (KK)

  1. Alois Kracher died in 2007 and his son, Gerhard, now runs the estate. Consistently some of the best dessert wines made in Austria.
