Whatever Happened to The Zucc??

#1 Post by TomHill »

It's been quite a awhile since I've seen John Zuccarino post here in this little corner of CyberSpace.
Anybody had any recent contact with John. I hope he's OK. I always enjoyed his often controversial
posts here on WB. And always liked his links:

Let us know you're OK, John. I miss you.

I think he still owns his winery, you could probably contact him there (unless he decided to go to Barbados for the holidays).

Speaking of missing, David Z and the Klapper are missed as well.

Didn't someone post about 6 months ago that John Z had a run-in with the law? I could be mistaken, but that is what I remember. There was even a link to an article about it.

If it’s this:

https://www.fingerlakesdailynews.com/20 ... 4-million/

Then who knows? From what little I could glean of him from his posts and our interactions this sounds like par for the course. Could be more to it but certainly reads as odd at the least.

Not the type of tip I was looking for in the other Finger Lakes thread. A visit to his winery might be a hoot. I’ll be sure to back into my parking spot in case a quick getaway becomes necessary.

No need. It is important to find that balance between Wineberserkers and real life. Sometimes, writing things down can really help to put things in perspective!

I've been considering a sabbatical. I've been wasting too much time here.
Whose time have you been wasting?
Isn't it time for you to update your picture/avatar? Or, are you pulling a "Squires"?
So, the sabbatical is still in the planning stages?

It's really quite simple: cheap shot artist get pissy when it's turned back on them.
“To study the Buddha Way is to study the self. To study the self is to forget the self. To forget the self is to be actualized by myriad things. When actualized by myriad things, your body and mind as well as the bodies and minds of others drop away. No trace of enlightenment remains, and this no-trace continues endlessly.”

Nice photo; it would make a good avatar.

I actually tried to upload it as an avatar, but I was hitting max dimension limits in the software. I futzed with making a downscale version for a few minutes and then gave up, as I was wasting time...

But apparently you don't like my avatar of me scanning wine bottles in my cellar from 2010. That alone is a good enough reason for me to leave that avatar in place in perpetuity...

It's not that I don't like it. I just thought that I would waste a little of your time.

The most interesting thing in the District Court's decision is footnote 2:
2. Zuccarino's motion for an extension of discovery deadlines to obtain disciplinary records, ECF No. 64, and his motion to accept expert discovery from his treating mental health nurse practitioner, ECF No. 69, are pending before Magistrate Judge Payson. These records do not bear on whether Deputy Yessman had probable cause to issue the appearance ticket. Contra Fed. R. Civ. P. 56(d). Accordingly, those motions are DENIED AS MOOT....
