2014 End of the Vine Mt Veeder Cabernet Mayacamas Mountains
Even after a lengthy decanting, it was still very, very tight.
And very green.
And very light.
I received a rather large pour, and I kept telling myself that I oughtta dump the rest of it in the swill bucket, but it was just too dadgum tasty, so I swallowed the whole thing.
If you’re a Cab-Head, who understands the aging potential of a very tight, very green, very light-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon, then back up the truck.
[Pop-N-Pour Infanticiders need not apply.]
This was the best New World Cabernet Sauvignon I’ve tasted in forever.
Hold until 2044-2054.
